This is the best pour over coffee pot! We wanted an insulated pot- and wow!! The coffee is piping hot HOURS later!!! I also love that I can brew a large enough pot for entertaining and looks great too! It’s very easy to use and easy to clean. Most importantly the coffee tastes great!!!

Keeps coffee hot for hours! Love the pour over - adding more cone filters in the packaging would be a plus- i only received 5- overall, great product!

Kind of expensive, but it works like you'd expect, and keeps coffee hot. I think you could do the same thing with just a Melitta filter holder and a cheap thermal carafe and save a few bucks.

This would be an ideal coffee maker if the top weren't made of black plastic. In an effort to get away from plastics I've tried to seek out more glass and stainless ways to make, and store food safely. I'd like to see the parts of this coffee maker that touch the hot coffee be made completely of stainless. Otherwise, this is the perfect coffee maker and keeps the coffee hot for a long time in the thermal carafe.

I used french press method for many years and was at my wits end with cleaning it, and wanted an easier coffee routine without going back to an automatic. I looked into other pour-over options but didn't think they would keep the coffee warm and also didn't want to worry about the fragility of the glass. I liked that this was insulated and could be covered with the lid after it was done. I didn't want to get something with this much plastic, but the other options just didn't seem like they would work. I absolutely love this. It keeps the coffee pretty warm over the course of about two hours. It tastes great. The pour over method takes a bit of time as you have to pour, wait, and pour some more, but I knew that going into it. Super easy to clean. I fill it almost all the way and this is enough for about three 15 oz mugs of coffee with creamer.

Another great product from Melitta. I've been very satisfied with my previous Melitta pour-over coffee brewer for several years but it was time for an upgrade. They definitely put in some work to improve the design. I was worried about the plastic locking tabs but they have proven to be well protected and function better than the previous screw on tops. If you're a daily coffee enthusiast, I think you'll be pleasantly satisfied with this coffee pot. Great company, great product!

The Melitta Pour-Over brewer and carafe is almost what I was looking for. I purchased it after reading reviews that said it kept the coffee hot. I wanted to avoid having to microwave my second cup. If I have the second cup within 30 minutes it stayed hot enough to drink (about 150 degrees), but I found that any longer than that, I needed to microwave it. I like my coffee hot. It has a functional design. The coffee basket fits nicely and there is a good lid for after the brewing is done. It is wide and squat, which is great for stability (you cannot tip the thing over!). That makes it loose points in aesthetics, but I'll take function over beauty. Another thing I don't like is that there are no markings on the carafe, so you have to measure your hot water. I find that an awkward, extra step. So, overall, it works fine but I would like better if the coffee stayed hotter and I could tell how much water I poured in. If those things matter, look at some other options.
