Ive had this unbearable and unsightly rash on my hand for years. Almost looks like dishpan hands or eczema though tested its neither of those but very itchy, red. I have fibromyalgia so maybe its a fibro rash. Idk. Anyway, used all types of lotions. Gold bond, Lubriderm, Cereve, lotion specifically for eczema ,etc. Most of those lotions irritated my skin or just created a lot of lotion buildup or just didnt help. I ran across this and Decided to try. Its wonderful and has helped. Its light. Fragrance free. Not oily. Doesn't cake on skin and doesnt irritate the rash. The rash has improved greatly because it isn't irritated by the use of the lotion therefore able to heal! The lotion is ,as ive mentioned, very light, it is moisturizing though you may find your skin doesnt feel as soft as the heavier lotions and creams. I will continue to buy it and recommend you give it a try if like me you've tried so many other lotions and they've disappointed you. You just may find relief!

Sarna was recommended to me that my dermatologist since it is a steroid free as anti-itch solution. I have not had any issues or problems using this product. My skin is extremely sensitive and I tend to get breakouts from my ingrown hair. This product is great as it stops me from scratching, allowing my skin to heal properly I use this as part of my daily routine and sometimes several times a day, depending on the temperature and my neck irritation.

This was recommended by my dermatologist for itching, caused by dry skin and/or contact dermatitis (no rash) and it was like a miracle!!! I keep 2 bottles with me at all times. You put on and with less than a minute the itching subsides! I am 74 and LOVE this product. Amazon offers great prices over the drug store!! Buy some and try it out! Yeah for Sarno (and my dermatologist for recommending) for this great, great product. To open close the top by turning it clockwise. Hold and twist the pump counter clockwise!

Helps a little. The pump top won't open- messed with it until I lost patience and put the lotion in a jar. As for the anti itch properties, I would say it works... somewhat. Not the worst, not the best but given it is steroid free, maybe its the best for what it is. Not much of a fragrance (good) and gentle.

Best product I have found for dry itchy skin. My hands get very dry and have even cracked and bled. I order this. Within a couple of days my hands were healed. I suggested this to a friend that is a diabetic with itchy skin on his back. Took away the itch. He has tried other products before this with no help. This has no scent. Cannot recommend enough! Best product out there.

The Sarna lotion is very good (4-5 stars). The pump on the bottle is horrible. I have purchased this product approximately seven times. Only one time have I gotten a pump that works. Each time I buy a new bottle I have to save the one pump that works and put it into the next bottle.

I recently had my first ever massage. At the time it was wonderful. Afterwards, however, I started to itch horribly on my back between my shoulder blades. It turns out the masseuse had slightly pinched a nerve in my neck. I know, it sounds really weird - a pinched nerve caused you to itch?! But it’s true - look it up on WebMD! Anyway, the point is that NOTHING helped with the itching and I was continually scratching my back. I couldn’t sleep for more than a few hours, even when I took 2 Benadryl, and none of the anti-itch creams did any good. I was totally miserable! Then I decided to give this lotion a try and it worked - the itching was gone!!! I was finally able to get a full night’s sleep. Of course the itching came back - I still have the pinched nerve, but hopefully that will resolve itself with time. In the meantime, this lotion is like a Godsend. I highly recommend it to anyone having problems with itching. There are two versions of the lotion - one unscented, the other one not. The latter has both camphor and menthol in it so when you first put it on it feels icy hot which feels wonderful. It has a slight odor to it, however, so you may prefer the unscented version. You don’t get the icy hot feeling with it, but you also don’t get the slight odor. Either way, they both work better than anything else I’ve tried for itching.
