This is a good light and value for money, a bit fittery to secure wires to the bulb holder, knowing the wires are secured using a cross-headed screwdriver rather than a flat headed screwdriver certainly helps. Still , went and bought another one.

Fitted and working well

Bearing in mind how inexpensive this item is, I’ll try not to be too critical. It’s made out of decent enough plastics but economies have been made.. For instance there is no wiring whatsoever inside this fixture. Whereas most similar lamps incorporate a connector strip for your cable, you do have to use your imagination as to how you’re going to wire it internally. And wiring up the lamp holder itself is rather fiddly and time consuming. I wouldn’t want another one.

I was looking for a pair of lights to light my small back garden ,these are perfect they look good and cast a good light .,I am made up with them .

Although it is made of plastic this bulkhead light fitting is very reasonably priced and a nice fitting. It states it is for up to 100W but you would be much better buying some 20W daylight E27 corn bulbs that give out very little heat but give out a brilliant light.

PROS Cheap Replaceable bulbs Includes heat wrap for wire protection. Lightweight CONS Tiny hard to reach and easy to strip terminal screws, with blind and tight wire access. Most long reach precision screwdrivers wont fit. Grommit seal's knock out port is tough to remove and then seal fit not fit for purpose i.e. loose in housing. Lid cracks if use small power driver to tighten 4 screws so will lose waterproofing. Fixing screw points not identifed in instructions. No earth wire terminal.

Works fine, but on the flimsy side.
