These filters have been a great option for using tap water in my humidifier without worrying about what’s being put into the air. They fit perfectly into my unit and are very easy to replace. This is the older model, and I felt the newer version was slightly more efficient, but these still work well overall. I noticed a mild smell when the filter gets wet again after being off for a few hours, and a small amount of reddish residue at the bottom of the filter. I run my humidifier almost constantly, so I’m still satisfied with the performance and feel they’re doing what they’re meant to do.

If you were thinking about getting the off brand filters..don’t! Definitely worth it to get the canopy brand filters. It works! This was after 5 weeks using “filtered” water.
