Simple Houseware Entryway Shoe Rack Bench Storage Organizer

I needed a bench to keep by my front door to hold footwear and provide a place to sit while I laced up, or when I kicked off my boots when I got home. I also didn't want to spend a lot of money, and benches are surprisingly expensive. After a long search, I found this reasonably priced bench and gave it a shot. I was worried that at its current price point, it would be low quality and wouldn't be sturdy enough to sit on. I was relieved to find this was definitely not the case! I found this bench easy to assemble, taking less than 10 minutes in total. After completion, I gave it a few pushes and was pleased with the sturdy performance, experiencing only slight wobble. It's slim design sits nicely flush against my wall and remains unobtrusive, and the deep brown top and bottom blends seamlessly with the wood features in my living room. It can easily hold 4 pairs of shoes and 2 pairs of boots, all size 12. The two levels underneath consist of 4 bars, and are spaced closely enough that I can even keep my shoe shine kit stored underneath without worrying it will slip through. The top is soft and very well cushioned, and seems to be holding up well. I'm 190lbs, and sitting on this bench feels as solid as a chair. For the price and quality, this was an excellent purchase!

Everything I could hope for! My husband has Parkinson's, so I am now the head assembly person, the sole muscle for any job, and since I am a writer and was an English prof, when I say easy assembly, I mean easy. I am terrible with screwdrivers, but I put this together alone in about 15 minutes. It is a perfect seat to remove/put on shoes and fits nicely by door. It a nice looking, unobtrusive piece of furniture, simple but fufills its purpose. As long as you carefully line up holes and screws, and then only partially screw each piece--and then go back for final tightening of each one, you should be fine!

We lacked enough bedroom shoe storage. This shelf fit nicely at the foot of a queen bed. As long as you don't stack junk on top it's a great seat for putting on shoes and socks. Easy to assemble, reasonably priced, not too big, not ugly. Most of the other options fail at least one of those tests . . .

If you're looking for a utilitarian, light weight bench for people to be able to sit to take off or put on their shoes in an entryway, this is a nice bench, and really easy to assemble. It is not, however, an attractive piece for an elegant entryway. It looks nicer in the pictures than it does in real life - not that it is ugly - it's just cheap materials. That being said, it's a decent bench for a back door entry, or for kids in their bedroom to organize their shoes. I'm a little suspect on how long it will hold out before something gives way and wobbles and eventually breaks down to the point of needing to discard it - only time will tell.

We are a "no shoes in the house" family, and my aging mother complained about coming over to our new house and needing a place to sit down to put her shoes on before entering the main room. So a bench seemed a good option for this dilemma. A lot of benches seemed to be hundreds of dollars, and when I saw the price on this one, I was worried it would fall apart if someone sat on it. To my joy and surprise, this bench is both functional and fashionable at a fraction of the price. My husband put it together in about 20 minutes and it has supported weight up to 250 lbs, holds at least 12 pairs of our shoes, and is a great addition to our entry way.

I used to hate having a carpet on the entrance with a line of 6 shoes on it everyday. Now my foyer looks much neater as this has a decent seat on it, with a good space to accommodate size 9 -size 10 shoes/sneakers and at least 3 pairs on each rack, a total of 6 shoes. I love the seat since its a small space, now I have a place to sit, and put my shoes on, very convenient for small foyers or spaces, and seems to be sturdy. Assembly was quick and easy, looks durable (only time will tell) but I have very happy with it.
