An easy breezy fun read!
Okay!! So this is a typical @hojay92 book which includes an explicit emotional narrative, has that typical slow burn , drives you nuts with the crazy plot twists and an adorable protagonist whom your heart goes out to. 🆃🅷🅴 🅿🅻🅾🆃- Bel,[protagonist] who has lived 16 years of her life deluded that her mom has “gone” is now in for a rude shock when her mom [Rachel Price] makes a ” reappearance” amidst the shooting of a true-crime documentary based on her disappearance itself. Bel, being a very observant & intelligent girl notices some discrepancies in her mom's story and starts to dig further into the details of her comeback! This is where the actual madness of the plot starts and the pace picks up. I think i counted about 4 plot twists! uff! Keep up Chaitali. 🆆🅷🅰🆃 🅷🅰🅳 🅼🅴 🆂🆃🆄🅲🅺 🆃🅾 🆃🅷🅴 🅿🅻🅾🆃 🅻🅸🅺🅴 🆂🆄🅿🅴🆁 🅶🅻🆄🅴 🆃🅾 🅿🅰🅿🅴🆁- Holly explains the nuances of each character with so much conviction which truly adds to the anticipation of the plot. I could guess some of the plot twists apart from the last one which actually made me shut the book to absorb ! I truly enjoy the way Holly J writes about the unlikeable characters with rough edges and open ended intentions. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀. for anyone who likes a lot of plot twists
It was a good book but I do like the GGGTM series better. It was a good read and I will recommend it if you like twists and turns a lot!

Should have been names The Reappearance of Bel’s Gut
The Reappearance of Rachel Price tested my patience more than it rewarded it. The first 300 pages felt like wading through setting after setting with very little story actually moving. By the time the plot finally woke up near the end, I was already halfway out the door. The book could have been much shorter, and the pacing desperately needed a trim. Also, there are so many references to guts that it might as well have been titled The Reappearance of Bel’s Gut. After a point, it stopped adding flavour and just became repetitive. The final stretch does pick up nicely, but it wasn’t enough to balance out the long drag that came before it. Overall, not for me.
