*update 2/18/23* It's only been a little over a month but WOW. This stuff is the real deal I absolutely love it. I have left it in for 2 days before. My side balding areas from wearing high ponies constantly? Starting to fill in. I even put this in my brows because I accidentally plucked wrong hairs and had a hole. It grew back in like 1.5 weeks. I love how thick the oil is, I can slick my hair back into a pony and it stays w no hair spray needed. It smells really earthy and homey and refreshing. I still have 1/2 a bottle left which I wasn't sure I would. My gray hairs are coming in so fast and often and it's all new growth . I put a little bit in my hair dye as well and it helped protect my hair. I just really love this and I hope it doesn't discontinue ever. 1/4/23 I have very thick straight hair. (1B-1-C). My hair has thinned with aging & lifestyle, so I have been using rosemary oil for quite awhile. I use Mielle Rosemary drops. They work nice. But let me tell you...this product HITS. I've been wanting something a bit juicier, thicker, and sticky. I found this on a whim and I am impressed. I really love this oil for pulling. I have always oiled my hair but never knew the origin and have enjoyed learning of its origination in India and how it has been used since throughout the world. Thank you for this beautiful oil. It's thick with some slight stickiness but it absorbed beautifully into my hair and skin. I will keep updating as needed. I just received today. I have used Soulflower’s oils for a few years now. I do like the convenience of buying the products already mixed, so I’m happy with this oil. It’s normal for coconut oil to harden in cooler temperatures. When that happens, it’s more difficult to get the contents out of the container. You might want to pour the oil into something wider like a plastic container. That way, you can just use a little spoon to pour some of the oil into the palm of your hand. I give this product a 3-4 star because depending on your hair situation, it can be annoying figuring out how to extract the oil from the bottle. For people complaining about the “black stuff” on the bottom, that’s the herb. It separates from the oil a bit, so you should always shake the bottle (like oil-based salad dressing). In all, I say that if you have major issues with hair loss, keep trying this product with your supplements and biotin shampoo. If you decide to buy the herb only, it’s a powder and can be messy. On the other hand, you can make your own scalp treatment/paste with it. For those of you who want to try that, just deconstruct the ingredients from this bottle, I guess. But I use coconut oil, the herb powder, aloe vera, and essential oils. I hope that helps.

After postpartum I was dealing with so much hair fall. I thought it’s time I will go completely bald (not exaggerating) and I also colored my hair around 1 month after delivery so my hair was super rough. By the time it was 2 months after I got my hair colored I felt like grass on my head, so dry and lifeless and I even if I touch my hair 100’s of hair strands were falling .. then my mom recommended soul flower hair oil and I purchased here.. Honestly after 2-3 uses my hair started getting softer. Now after 1 month use my hair feels much softer than normal.. I highly highly recommend this oil.. my hair fall was controlled (not immediately but slowly) and my hair quality increased a lot. For hair regrowth you can try other remedies, am trying with onion but this definitely keeps your scalp clean and hair quality to next level. 5 stars!!

In one of the videos for this product, it shows a person using a tip applicator to apply the oil directly to the scalp. This is important if you intend on moisturizing your scalp instead of raking it through hair that will only pull out weak/damaged hair. My oil came with the tip, except it was completely sealed at the tip. No oil can be released through it. I asked the company to send me a replacement tip. Instead, they gave me a $5 refund. The ease of purchasing this oil for me was only beneficial if it came with the tip, which is an advertised feature. I could have made the oil for $10 less if I needed to. Which is what I will do going forward. If you want to risk making the purchase, go for it. But it's only 2 ingredients, and you can make twice as much for the same price if you just search for the ingredients on Amazon.

Very good oil for all hair type

Been using this 2 month's and my hair fall has decreased. The smell is not as bad as people are making out. It's a herby smell with a hint of onion. I use it overnight before washing my hair. I massage it on scalp only. I lay and old towel down on my pillow and use a head wrap so smell doesn't transfer. Growing the dyed ends out and my hair has more volume and people comment how shiny my hair is (un-dyed at the top). Easy package, pump is great. Reliable delivery, would highly recommend!

Use this product and left it overnite but the foul smell did not let me sleep and have to shower middle of the nite. This is ok if you sleep alone coz of the really bad smell.
