The NIV Super Giant Print Reference Bible is absolutely wonderful. The large font makes reading effortless and comfortable for long periods of time. The print is clear and sharp and the layout is well organized with helpful references throughout the pages. The cover feels sturdy and elegant and the pages are high quality with minimal bleed through. It opens flat and is easy to hold while reading or studying. I appreciate the inclusion of maps and reference notes which make it even more useful for deeper study. This Bible is perfect for anyone who prefers larger text or wants a clear and easy reading experience. It is beautiful well made and thoughtfully designed.

This Bible is so lovely. I am very happy I purchased it. The type is indeed super giant. I can read it from a long distance, not to mention not having to get out a magnifying glass and still be having difficulty. I love the comfort type, which I think must mean a somewhat bold type. I have comfort type in another Bible that is a smaller point and that is the similarity I am seeing. Comparing a 12 point type and a 12 point comfort type, the boldness of the print appears to be the difference to me. I also love that the pages do not glare and are thicker than the slimline editions and my study Bibles, both of which I must be careful with when marking or making notes. I do not consider it overly large or heavy. Definitely larger and heavier than my slimlines but nothing compared to my study Bibles. This Bible does not have gilded edges which makes me happy because they do not stick together. The gilding always wears off of mine anyway. I purchased this Bible just for reading. To be able to sit down and be able to just read with ease. It is not meant to be a study Bible, there are no bells and whistles other than some references, a dictionary concordance and a table of weights and measures. It is exactly what I wanted it for except for one disappointment, no ribbon marker. Since this is what I use for "reading through" the Bible, a ribbon marker is most wanted. I am using a bookmark, which have a tendency to get misplaced or fall out, while trying to decide if there is a way for me to put a ribbon in without harming it. This is actually the only Bible I have ever purchased that did not have a ribbon so I didn't think to check if it did. I'm usually busy making sure the ones I purchase are red letter editions, which I also love, and this one is. I will say the "leathersoft" isn't as soft as leather but I am hoping it will soften and feel more leather like in time. I would have liked to have rated this 4.5 stars because of the ribbon factor, but have given it 5 stars because it deserves more than 4. It is pure pleasure to read and I hope this is the one that I will be able to see the rest of my life.

Absolutely in love with it! The words are huge, pages are thin, but not too fragile. Better than I expected honestly. :)

This is my absolute favorite Bible. The print is large enough that this Grandma can see it! Also, there is enough room that I can highlight in and take notes. No squinting to try and read tiny print. The NIV is a great version of the Scriptures and easy to understand. I would recommend this Bible to anyone who wants to step up their game in studying GOD'S Word!

Beautiful bible. Large print makes for easy reading. My only complaint is that the Bible I received is missing a lot of pages. Look though your bible before you decide to keep it.

I LOVE this Bible!!! My eyesight has really changed recently and I'm only 41. This bible is so easy to read!! When I opened it up I just loved it! I will have to get used to the size bit that will not take long at all because I'm so happy with the print!! Thank you!!!
