Primary Mathematics Grade 2 WORKBOOK SET--2A and 2B

Great, straightforward math book! Sometimes need extra supports to go along with it.

We like the Singapore math books a lot! My first grader is working through the 2a book. The first few pages are review concepts, but it quickly jumps into new concepts. So far, we’ve covered three-digit addition and subtraction. The pages are simple and she can usually finish about 2 exercises in 10-15 minutes. She does this at home after school and it’s a great way to get some additional practice. The book makes it fun, with little games and illustrations to keep their attention.

I have not found a math program that my children and I love as much as Primary Mathematics in our 5 years of Homeschooling. This set of books was bought for my 6-year-old, he can work independently with minimal assistance from me. Most importantly it is not overstimulating.

I love using these with my kids. Them seem to learn math easier with Singapore and retain it. The mental math part is great.

Very interesting for kids to practice Match

The product came quickly and in great condition. A few things to note, the pages are black and white, the size of these books caught me by surprise as they are a hair smaller than a standard 8.5x11 piece of paper. There are 166 pages of actual workbook/problem pages . The workbooks do not have any perforation for ripping the pages out (something I often do for workbooks).

These books are everything I expected them to be. I'm not disappointed in the least. I previously used the 1A and 1B workbooks and I liked them a lot, as well.

Progression on the first 20 lessons is a little steep without enough practice or ways of getting to the answer. Will supplement with other material. We previously did the 1A and 1B books where there was better progression.
