I’m very happy with the quality and function of this tool. It’s easy to use and has given me excellent results. There’s plenty of rise/ fall to adapt to different dose and basket variations. No need for manual micro adjustment's like on other tools. The sturdy distributor is so effective it seems to act slightly as a pre-tamp. Excellent choice and value!

I absolutely love the aesthetic of Normcore. The look and feel is absolutely premium. Nice and heavy feel. All of their products are a pleasure to use. The price point is definitely competitive with other brands and adds value to your tool set. This works well distributing the grounds and even clearing the sidewalks of the basket. Fits perfectly in a 58 mm basket. I use this with a Normcore 22gr basket with a Normcore portafilter. Tamped with a Normcore tamper. Easy to wipe off clean and even comes with a base to set in. Very nice tool makes much easier work when pulling espressos. Well done

I love this distribution tool because no matter the amount of grind it will distribute it evenly with consistent pressure. Also it's well made. I've had it over a year and no issues.

I’ve been using the MCore 53.3mm Gravity Distribution Tool with my Breville setup, and overall I’m really impressed. The fit is spot on for a 54mm portafilter, and it immediately made my puck prep feel more consistent and less fussy. The gravity-adaptive design is actually more useful than I expected—it helps level things out without me having to overthink pressure or technique, which is great when I’m half awake making my morning shots. Build quality feels solid. The 304 stainless steel base gives it a nice weight, and the 5-blade design does a good job distributing grounds evenly before tamping. I’ve noticed fewer channeling issues and more balanced extractions since incorporating it into my routine. We have recently moved into the home barista business. OK not really a business but we have switched from Nespresso to a proper espresso machine that requires the proper puck preparation. After using the tools the machine came with, we quickly realized we needed some assistance to keep our mornings more hassle free. So we purchased a portafilter stand, a portafilter ring and this leveling tool. This tool seems to be unique in that it uses gravity to push down the powder compared to others that you adjust the depth with. First the tool itself feels of high quality, and it is very simple to use. Just drop it in the portafilter and then turn. There is something very satisfying about using this leveler, dare I say I look forward to it? I actually ordered other levelers and this one won not only for its simplicity of use (there is no dialing it in to determine the depth you want) but with the joy of using it. It's also very well priced considering it's quality. It has also helped tremendously with getting consistent shots in the morning (by leveling the grounds before tamping). Tip: If you are new to this, creating a bit of a mound in the middle before you use this will limit the amount of powder that comes out of the sides when you level it.

I have used this product everyday for about 6 months and still enjoying. The weight is nice, the products is heavy and feels expensive especially for the price point. It evenly distributes the coffee grounds well.

Hace unos meses compré mi cafetera Sage Barista Express. El siguiente paso para conseguir un gran espresso era conseguir buenas herramientas y utensilios. Quería un nivelador para evitar extracciones desiguales y conseguir que el café molido se distribuyese de igual forma por todo el área del portafiltro. Había varias opciones, tanto de Normcore como de otros fabricantes. Finalmente, me decidí por este modelo por comodidad: este modelo se ajusta a varios volúmenes de café sin necesidad de hacer ajustes, pues se "auto calibra" gracias a la gravedad, es decir, el producto baja por efecto de la gravedad hasta tener contacto con el café molido del portafiltro. De esta forma, si usas una cesta con 18 gr de café (para un café doble), el artículo descenderá hasta alcanzar esos 18gr. Si otro día, usas una cesta con 10 gr de café (para un espresso simple), el producto descenderá hasta alcanzar esos 10 gr sin necesidad de que ajustes nada. Por tanto, veo muy útil este producto si cambias habitualmente de gramaje o de cesta. Otros modelos requieren ajustar la altura en función de la cantidad de gramos que vayas a usar. La calidad de los materiales es maravillosa. Tiene muy buen peso y se nota robusto. Además, personalmente, es muy bonito. El producto se adapta perfectamente al portafiltro original de 54 mm de la cafetera SAGE BARISTA EXPRESS. No obstante, actualmente lo uso con un portafiltro sin fondo de la marca MHW-3BOMBER modelo ASTRAL. Si también tienes este artículo, ya sabes que son compatibles a la perfección. Aunque recibí el producto hace unos meses, he esperado hasta hoy para hacer la reseña porque considero que en un portafiltro sin fondo se pueden apreciar mejor los resultados. Le "bon marché" finit toujours par coûter plus cher. Cet accessoire a exactement un an, et il ne sert plus à rien, sauf peut-être comme retenue de porte, vu son poids. En effet, la base de l'égalisateur de café est complètement désaxée, provoquant un channeling, l'inverse de ce à quoi il devrait servir. Je vais me résoudre à acheter un "gravity distributor" dans la marque où j'ai acheté mes autres accessoires, ultra fiables et de qualité, d'origine australienne pour les initiés .

Inicialmente tenia mis dudas, pero cuando me llego quede encantado con el producto, tiene un buen peso y es fácil de usar y limpiar. Distribuye el café adecuadamente, aunque aun no me quito la sensación que por el mismo peso lo trampea un poco (presiona el café). Se adecua a la cantidad y tamaño del porta filtros.

The distributor works well, but I wish it was bigger, maybe 53.6mm. There is a small gap between the distributor and basket, some coffee remain there, however by far it is better than the normal 53mm models! The gravity self-adjustable function is also great since you don't need to adjust the hight for different coffee doses. Another great product from NORMCORE!
