Good replacement. Since I was not able to connect another controller for my 360 booth. This one works right away. Easy to replace the control on the 360 and back to work

Crap. Antenna nit soldered. I had to solder one end of antenna to the board to get it to work. Never could get the 24v setting to work.

Works well for model trains! A real cost savings solution compared to other devices on the market for the model train world. Forward, reverse, and the 5 speeds work well. It also has a very long distance range, well-over 400 ft. However, if you want sound in your engine, you will need an additional sound card.

Not very useful. the motor always turns on at high speed going forward... then it can be manipulated. it also has a ramp down on off but no ramp up. why the beep?

I needed it quickly and it was so easy to install.

I love this controller. Normally with DC pulse-width-modulated speed controllers, you can smoothly control the voltage; but those don't have a remote control, and this one does! As you can see in the video, it clicks through to several voltages with my 12 VDC power supply. When you press the Reverse button, you hear a relay click and the motor reverses almost right away. (I suppose you don't want to slam most motors with an instant polarity switch anyway.) The loud beep allowed me to walk all over the house with the remote's antenna extended, trying to go far enough where it would stop working. I got about 100 feet away and it was still responding to the remote's buttons. Ah yes, that beep - it IS loud, but I may either tape over the piezoelectric device to make it quieter, or I may desolder it from the board. But you may want a feature like that, so it's up to you whether that's a "plus" or a "minus"!
