Is the MEATER 2 Plus the same as the MEATER Pro?

Yes. MEATER 2 Plus and MEATER Pro are the same product. In 2024, MEATER updated the name to “MEATER Pro,” but some packaging and materials may still say “MEATER 2 Plus.” Despite the name change, the product and performance are identical.

What do the blinking light colors mean?

Green blinking = the probe is connected to the charger, which means a disconnection could be between the charger & your phone/tablet. Red blinking = the probe is not connected to the charger.

What if my firmware is not updating?

Try restarting your phone/tablet. Put the probe in the charger. Remove the AAA battery for one minute, then put it back in the charger. Take out the probe and wait for the LED to blink green. Open the MEATER app and start the update.

Do I need to clean my MEATER Pro probe after each use?

Yes. Buildup from food or smoke can create a barrier between the probe & charger, meaning the probe can't charge. If a probe isn't charged, it can't connect, making not cleaning your probe the most common cause of probes not being able to connect.
