Amazing! I have unintentionally tested this product when I stupidly left my mobile on the car roof when having a weekend in Wiltshire.. drove off.. mobile alerted police and emergency contact on my phone .. like I was in an accident.. nothing like causing chaos wherever I go lol….anyways.. mobile iPhone 16 was driven over by several cars in main high street of Marlborough .. police found it on the road… I was devastated.. thinking the new phone will be broken… it was not!! The case had took the brunt… my iPhone inside the case was brand new… not a scratch on it.. screen everything was fine!!! I’ve bought another..although I hope not to test this product again !!’ lol

Nice protective case, good price and easy to install.

Had this phone case for 2 years on my phone… To say it’s been put through the wringer would be an understatement… I’ve lost count of the number of engine bays this case with my phone in has been through… I’ve dropped the case hundreds of times… The paint’s gone from areas that stand out on the case from drops… I was dubious about the screen protector but again it’s been put through the wringer… The protector itself is scratched and scraped and dinged but my phone inside is immaculate… After 2 years and thousands of drops it is finally starting to feel it and one corner is starting to go… This case has been FANTASTIC!!!! ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!!! I cannot recommend it enough!! Will be seeing if I can order another one but for my new phone.

The case around the camera has now split, the camera section left exposed. At the back of the phone it feels like it’s started gaping, people struggle to hear me, it’s obviously now not fitting correctly as the side buttons often do their own thing where the case is catching on either the volume or screen lock buttons. Now with all of the splitting, gaping, exposed areas it is defiantly not waterproof and I think if I dropped the case would shatter! For a so called military grade case which is waterproof this is sadly none of them. It’s the most expensive case I have purchased as I wanted to ensure my phone was protected. Now only just over 2 months after my order I’m going to have to spend more money on yet another case. Pretty sure a case costing £5 could have lasted me 2 months! I was very hopeful when I purchased the case, now I could not be more disappointed!

Okay so I’m rewriting the review after a month or so of using this case. The positives: I think it’s a cool design, various others have also made this style of case and I’ve had varying results with the design, but mostly it protects the phone against harsh drops etc which is its main purpose. It’s got hard and squishy layers so it does a great job even if you throw the phone onto hard concrete: it will probably be fine. The negatives: there are a few 1 the screen protector sucks because it creates a layer between you and the screen but there’s invariably a gap inside. Dust gets in so now your beautiful iPhone screen is tainted by refraction rainbows, dust flecks and doesn’t respond as well as it should. So I take that out. The manufacturer wants to claim that the case is waterproof so this would stop it from being, but the phone is already waterproof. Go figure. 2 the camera protector is a thin layer of plastic, so it also suffers similar issues to the screen protector. It runs the risk of dust getting lodged on front of the camera and regularly needs cleaning because it’s not oleophobic. I imagine if it gets scratched (which sapphire wouldn’t) then it would permanently ruin your photos. As it is: it affects your photos in a subtle way and again: I took it out. Taking the high end camera optics and shoving a plastic cover on them isn’t needed, the case is better off without it. 3 the camera control works well enough although it’s physically hard to find by touch alone, a minor gripe here but they could have put some structure around the camera control “button” so you can clearly feel where it starts and ends. But it works okay, but like the screen protector definitely takes you slightly away from direct control. 4 the sound is now totally wrecked: so no accommodations for the microphones. The front screen protector and camera cover block the various microphones (and speaker on the front) so expect your use of partial 360 sound or any movie watching experiences to suck badly and just not really work anymore. That’s fine for some people but a bit of a major loss for me. Having said that: removing the screen and camera layers as described above helped a lot. 5 paint scratches and chips away: not sure if this is an oversight or just using cheap paint but unless you get one that isn’t painted (silver I guess) then it’s going to look scratched and therefore old within a very short time. I haven’t used the phone extensively under rugged conditions (far from it) and have not been attempting to damage it, again far from it) but invariably is now already has nicks and scratches where the paint just came away at the slightest contact with anything other than skin. So get an unpainted or silver one so it’s not noticeable. 6 the rubber on the back side isn’t flush, in fact it feels like a pouch. Maybe this is intentional, to help with cooling maybe, but I’m tempted just to rip out the rubber on the back because it’s feels weird to have a bulgy back of the phone. Probably it might help with cooling also to get rid of it: although the phone doesn’t significantly heat up with this case so it’s not been essential to remove this. I don’t use mag-safe accessories but if I did I’m sure I would rip it out first thing.

Also zum Kritikpunkt, man könne das iPhone nicht mehr mit einer Hand bedienen, der mich anfangs auch stutzig gemacht hat: Ich kann das iPhone OHNE Hülle nicht mit einer Hand bedienen, weil es so rutschig ist am Korpus und weil man super leicht an den Rändern des Bildschirms mit der Hand aufliegt, ohne es zu wollen. MIT Hülle können auch meine kleinen Frauenhände (Handschuhgröße 6 1/2 bis 7) das iPhone einhändig bedienen. Was ich positiv finde, ist, wie stabil die Hülle ist; wie einfach es vonstatten geht; dass ausreichend Ersatzschrauben dabei sind samt Mikrofasertuch und Handyschlaufe. Die Bedienbarkeit ist hervorragend, die Kameralinsen sind geschützt und die Kunststoffschicht ist kristallklar. Wie gut die Hülle schützt, wird sich noch zeigen, aber vom Aufbau her habe ich eigentlich einen guten Eindruck. Mal schauen. In einigen Reviews habe ich gelesen, dass die Farbschicht sich schnell löst. Ja, den Eindruck habe ich auch — einige kleine, punktuelle silberne Stellen waren von Anfang an an einigen Kanten zu sehen. Erst war ich traurig, und dann dachte ich, dass es bestimmt einen coolen Used Look gibt. Eventuell mache ich später mal Fotos davon. Alles in einem bin ich — erstmal — sehr zufrieden.

The case looks fantastic and feels very sturdy—just as advertised. However, that same sturdiness seems to interfere with the microphone performance, especially when recording videos. It’s a shame, because the design is really cool and I’m confident it offers great protection for the phone. That said, if you use your phone to record videos—especially music videos—this case may not be the best choice. Unfortunately, I’m getting rid of it for that reason. It’s disappointing, because I really like the look, but I need clear audio more than I need a tough case.
