This wire stripper works great. It took a little more finesse with smaller wire, but is easy to use, quiet and great for removing the coating from leftover wire. This increases the scrap value by alot! The machine will pay for itself very quickly!

I’ve stripped about 2000lbs of copper/aluminum wire with this so far... it does a good job for all sizes of wire in residential applications of wiring. I’ve stripped 14 AWG solid copper up to 4/0 Aluminum with no issues. The blades are just now getting dull and I've already ordered my first pair of replacement blades. This machine is extremely easy to use. The only issue I’ve had is with smaller sizes of wire that aren’t straight sometimes curve to the right and they go through vents in the motors casing and get caught in the motors fan. It’s easy to just turn it off and pull the wire out but is a poor design for that. It also vibrates an extreme amount which is why I lagged it down like shown in the picture. I purchased this as a starter and plan to use it til I get enough scrap money to purchase a bigger more heavy duty and one with a warranty. But this cheap little wire stripper will strip enough wire to be able to buy 10 of these without any issues

Works wonderfully. So easy to use,men,women's and children can operate. The machine is also incredibly quiet.

Works very well just a learning curve

DO NOT BUY Purchased this in February and took it out of the box today 10/23/25 absolute garbage. Will not keep wire in cutter. Blade wobbles due to to much play in the wheel. The 2 lower rollers push apart no matter how tight you get them. Took it all apart to try to align it better and nope same scenario. Im about as smart as one can be when it comes to fixing things or making them better. The only way to make this better is to throw it away.

Another great gift for husband, My husband is a DIY guy, he uses a lot of wire, so he needed a safe (no box cutter) way to strip the scrap wire to remove the plastic coating. This machine does just that, its fast and easy. I can even do it. GREAT machine at a GREAT price.

Sinceramente desde que la compranos, ya se ha pagado aproximadamente unas 20 veces si no es que mas, es de muy buena calidad, bastante robusta, en mi trabajo incluso hemos metido cables doble 0 (obviamente sin las guardas) y lo corta facil, claro que haciendo una buena calibracion para que la cuchilla haga bien su corte.

Al parecer y hasta el momento eh pelado más de 300k de cobre, sobras y restos de los trabajos que realizó, el equipo se pago de inmediato, aunque pareciera que los materiales son de baja calidad, ah resistido, esta bien diseñado,. Creo que hasta el momento tengo una buena calificación.

Easy, quick and quiet operation. I have the older version that requires an Allen key to change the wire size guide while the new model is better. The unit has worked flawlessly and stripped enough wire (1800lbs in its first week) that we just ordered a new feed and cutting wheel to keep it going like new. This is well worth the money and the customer support from Creworks was excellent getting me set up with the replacement parts.
