My Husband is having several surgeries this winter, so I was looking for a good ice therapy option. I saw that the poor ratings here were almost all related to disappointments/malfunctions with the reservoir... I was not necessarily concerned about a good reservoir, because I had already decided that I could use the Yeti (or any other hard-side cooler that you may own). The Inmoredo was the highest-rated, yet most economical system that I could find. I'm so glad that I went with this system! We are halfway through the second surgery in 3 months. This system is still running absolutely perfectly! I love how quiet this pump is! PSA: Instead of ice, I had planned ahead and froze water in Gatorade/Replenish bottles....3-4 bottles, changed out 3-4 times a day keeps a steady supply of cold water, without all the mess and expense/ storage of ice (see photo). I had knee replacement surgery November 2024. I was advised to get this before that surgery and did not listen. I had my second knee surgery in October of 2025. I listened to the advice and I am so incredibly happy that I did. This is the best purchase I have ever made. If I could give it 10 stars it would not be enough. The easy of using it on my knee was amazing. We used frozen water bottles in the tub then filled it with water. The cold water circled around my swollen knee constantly and it was such a relief from pain that normally follows such a procedure. The Velcro straps made putting it on easy and securely. I am not a small person so the size was important. It straps on with the Velcro and adjusts very easy. The only thing I can say is I wish I would have bought it with the first surgery because it’s made this one so much more tolerable.

Definitely buy this if considering it. Price is fantastic and it works. Had a total knee replacement and was sent home with an ice machine. I decided to buy another one to keep one in my bedroom and one near a recliner, so I had 24 hour access to icing without moving the machine. I prefer this machine to the one given me. It is so easy to use. It is relatively quiet, and works perfectly. I am having pain at night, but if I put the ice machine on, I get instant relief. It has a nice sized wrap and good flow of the coldness. I put three frozen bottles of water inside the cooler that’s filled with water. I also keep a plug in freezer cooler filled with frozen water bottles nearby so I can switch out in minutes. I believe the coldness lasts about 6 hours, possibly more. All these ice machines can leak, so I put it inside a hard sided cooler to protect my floors.

This product is an absolute necessity for anyone recovering from knee surgery! I recently had my right knee replaced and this machine is making a huge difference in my recovery. It delivers soothing ice cold pain relief to the knee and retains it's cold for an incredibly long time so refilling is minimal. My unit keeps it's cold for a solid 24 hours! It works perfectly as advertised and is a real game changer for me. I wish this was available years ago when I had my first knee replaced. Absolutely highly recommended with 5 stars.

Works as expected helped in recovery for ACL surgery.

This thing worked great, other than the leaking cooler. Do yourself a favor and put it in a hard sided cooler to avoid lots of soppy messes. Then after three days, it would no longer turn on. Period. End. My wife just had knee replacement. We don't need to have something as important as this suddenly quitting. We live in the middle of nowhere. So now we are screwed. Amazon is replacing for free, but it'll take 4 days to get to us. Anyway. Don't buy this junk.-------------------Amazon did in fact replace it free of charge. We got it about 4 days after the first one quit. PLUS.....the seller refunded us half of our purchase price. It's worked GREAT since then. No issues. We DO use a hard sided cooler instead of the one provided with it. So......they stood behind their product. But the failure was VERY untimely.

Due to a mixup at discharge from hospital for a total knee replacement I didnt get pain meds for 5 days of hell using gel ice packs meant for knee but only lasted 10-15 mins yet took hours to refreeze. By Day 3 I was nearly going out of my mind with pain so ordered one of these therapy machines. Though it looks flimsey it has a big quiet pump and is light and I keep 3 frozen 1 ltr bottles of water in the collapsible container with enough added water to cover the pump. Dont let the appearance of item fool you! It has a thin lightweight adjustable knee pad with velcro and instantly gets icy cold having 3 settings on the inline button. Its quiet and stays icey cold nearly 2 hours at a time so no more having to get up and down replacing the gel packs! The tubing is long enough that with my bed located in former dining room between kitchen and bathroom, I can leave it on working and reach both, however for longer distances, the velcro undoes easily enough and easy to put back on without help. I did finally get the pain meds delivered but without this ice therapy machine I dont know what I would have done and still use it as my primary pain relief source both in bed and while at my computer chair. I highly recommend it to anyone that is post op or needing instant relief in any joint as it can be placed elsewhere though its set up for the knee its large and does lie flat enough to use on shoulders or back and keeps cold for a long enough time that I only change the ice water bottles out a few times a day .

Only down side is my nylon “bucket” is leaking already. It didn’t leak last night for my trial run before my surgery. But is leaking now that I’m actually using it. I only ran it for a few minutes last night though. Luckily the pump is a separate unit and I was able to toss it in a styrofoam cooler. No leaks from the cuff or hoses after 8 hours of use. I’ll see if they can send me a new bucket before exchanging. Update: was too hard to contact the seller, just kept getting that it’s fulfilled by Amazon. So I did an exchange. The new unit had a good bucket, but the pump won’t keep running on high. Luckily I haven’t sent the old one back yet so I can pull its pump.
