I just started decorating cakes recently and have really struggled to frost my cakes smoothly and evenly. I saw the Frost Form recommended on a few decorating blogs and decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did! With the help of this system, I was able to produce perfectly frosted cakes! The instructions were easy to follow and the additional videos and recipes on the Frost Form website were very helpful. Overall, it was easy to use and much less stressful than free-handing it. The whole system is pretty high quality, durable and easy to clean. I’d recommend the Frost Form to anyone who struggles to frost cakes by hand like me. I’ll definitely be getting the 8” version so I can make some larger cakes, too.

Very great product, took me a few tries to get it right but once I did the end result was superb! As advertised highly recommend this product. I'm buying all sizes.

If you like to decorate cakes, this is a must. I love to bake and decorate but I hate spending so much time working on the perfectly smooth frosting. This kit allows you to achieve the flawless frosted cake without spending endless time and effort working on it. The kit is user friendly and compact for easy storage. The price on the Amazon kits are significantly less then purchasing from frost form directly. It makes it nice for people who would like to try the kit out before committing to a larger investment. The kit comes with colorful self explanatory pieces which makes it easy to follow. They have recipes for the cake and frosting included as well. I’ve made many cake since purchasing this kit and they have all turned out great. I would encourage anyone who is thinking about trying this set to give it a try. It was worth it!

Works as expected but wish it had the metal cutting ring like the original. The plastic one is too thick/not sharp enough so it damages the cake and makes it harder to crumb coat. Doesn’t include the liner like original either, but it’s not 100% necessary or you can use parchment. Pictures are 1st and 2nd trys!

Very disappointing purchase. First of all, the packaging arrived very damaged. The box was broken in several places when it got to me. When I opened it, I was surprised to find that the cake mold inside is extremely small — much smaller than what is shown in the video. It looks like a mold for a single tiny cake, almost like a one-person portion. In the promotional video, the lady clearly shows what appears to be a medium-sized cake mold. However, the product you actually receive is a very tiny mold that does not match what is presented. They should make a video showing the actual small mold so customers understand the real size before buying. The current video is misleading and creates the wrong expectation. Very disappointing experience.

Frost Form Kit: This was AMAZING! I followed the directions exactly and it made for a perfect cake! I've used it with Buttercream, Ganache, Swiss Meringue Buttercream and this cake shown is Cool Whip on an ice cream cake!! It fills in beautifully and the frosting thickness is a perfect amount! My first time I spent awhile learning how to do it while reading the instructions but I'm getting quicker and quicker with every use. It has become a total time saver. Stencil: I've used the stencil on the cake and I LOVE how the stencil covers the WHOLE cake at ONCE and I don't have to move or reposition it. I also love how it is all part of the frosting process, again saving time!!! I also used the stencil on a number cake shown in the picture. Highly recommend both the Frost Form kits and the stencils!! They will help you make the most PERFECT looking cakes with very little effort!

This definitely has a learning curve, and like others have stated, the ingredients are very expensive! Butter and milk chocolate wafers for the beginner ganache. Follow instructions carefully, and allow your homemade ganache to COOL prior to pouring. I let my cake cool in fridge over night after frosting it. It was fun to use and will be purchasing more shapes and sizes off the actual site. I did not use the cake cutter that's inside this kit, I already had a 6 in cake pan but I purchased a metal cake cutterjust in case. This kit does not come with the base liner you'll see people use in videos so I purchased parchment paper rounds (6 in to match my cake size) and they worked fine. Good luck fellow bakers!

Overall this works really great! There is a learning curve, but it is easy to use, sturdy and for the first time ever I had a straight cake. Great value! It does require a lot of frosting.

Haven't used this one yet, but I already have the 8” frost form and they work brilliantly. Make sure you watch the demo video on their website, follow the instructions, and you can’t really go wrong. I always wanted beautiful flat tops and pristine sharp edges, which with only a normal scraper, was very hard and time consuming for me. Not now I have the frost form. I love it 😊. They are pricey, but worth it. I’m currently saving up for the next size I want.

If you want to make perfect cakes at home this set is amazing. Super easy to use and the instruction manual does the trick, lots of recipes online from frost form. You can easily make cakes that taste and look professional with this system. This system helps you by guiding you to create a nice neat stack of cake and filling, to then move on to the outer finish, which can consist of many different ingredient options. I found the cake I made (without baking the cakes) around 2 hours with freezing time. In the past the cake decoration part has been very stressful and time consuming, however the finish created by using the frost form is just amazing. I used the chocolate ganache with oil to make my finish. The colours of the equipment are really lovely and the quality of the plastic equipment is great and a quality thickness. Nice and easy to use if you take your time and follow the instructions provided.
