The Cat in the Hat’s Learning Library

Scientific facts are usually presented in rhyme so students find the words easier to read and and the facts easier to remember. I teach students of different ages, and this Science Learning Library appeals to children of several grades and reading levels. I look forward to more publications. Susan B. I like the quality of the printing, the book looks amazing and it is a pleasure to read it. Pages are from a thick paper with amazing illustrations and I also love the bookcase which is quite sturdy. My 5 and a half year old daughter loves the illustrations in this book. She is proud to present the books to her friends. Our american teacher is also happy to read from this book. The info presented in the book is interested an it is presented in such a way that it is not at all boring and it is really entertaining.

Good value for money, you get a wide array of topics, and the books are both easy to read and informative.

I absolutely love this set, wish it contained a few of the other books in the series, but hey it’s such a great deal I’m not complaining. These books have ALOT of information about the subject matter and are perfectly written for young kids, my toddlers learn a lot from these and I know they are written for an older audience. Highly recommend for homeschool or even just to have some fun educational books for kids to have around

My grandson and I have been enjoying each new book of this series. Yesterday we learned about baby animals, the other day about pets, the other about the human body. And there are so much more! I like the concept of "learning with rhyme." Although they are not Dr. Seuss himself the authors are honoring him with his rhyming style and the illustrations honor his wonderful world of creativity. An excellent set of books, I am so glad I got them!

Grandson picked these out to buy with money we'd been saving for something special. These were his choice to ad to his collection, and he loves reading them.

One of the only downsides of this British import set of Cat In The Hat learning books is that the thin paperback prints lack the heft of the Beginner Books-sized American hardcovers. There's a few minor edits for linguistic purposes, though books that I assumed would be rife with changes (like the book about money) hadn't been altered at all (and the currency was all American). The book about space is an older print than the American edition you can easily get here on Amazon and still features Pluto as a planet; we already had that book, though, so it was skipped anyway. There's a lot of material here and the amount of learning packed into each slim volume means that every book takes up the space of two to three other books at bedtime, as there's more reading, talking, discussion, and learning than with the standard storybook. The books feel a bit frail to let small children handle them, though, and the binding seems like it would be easy for a careless child to break, but if you're reading them at bedtime and doing all the handling, this set comes out to be quite a deal for the material you get, even if it isn't nearly as solid and sturdy as its American printing.

Brought the dinosaur one a while back for my son. Before even realizing that there was a collection. Gifted that to another kid at school for Christmas and got this to replace it for my son. He’s read it sooooo much that he can recite the book word for word. He’s 4!

英語の本ですが、難しくはないので日本人でも読みやすいと思います。 お話も楽しく、子供にはお勧めです。 息子も英語は読めませんが、本のイラストが可愛らしく気に入っているようで、私に読み聞かせをねだってきます。 この本で少しでも英語に興味を持ってくれたら嬉しいです。

Great set of high quality books

Absolutely LOVE these books! They are so fun to read, colorful, and informative! If you like Dr Suess, these are a must have for your little ones!
