The thickness rings are brilliant - they come in multiple sizes (1mm, 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, etc.) which allows me to achieve perfectly consistent dough thickness every single time. No more uneven cookies where some edges burn while others are underdone. My pie crusts now bake evenly throughout, and rolling out pasta dough has become a breeze. The stainless steel construction feels premium and incredibly durable. It has a nice weight to it without being too heavy, making it easy to control. This rolling pin is a game changer for me! I just started working with air dry clay and this was the best roller! I was able to roll different thicknesses of clay for the projects I am working on. Easy to use, easy to shape, super sturdy and great value for my money! :) Highly recommend! Oh, and easy to clean!

I've used other rolling pins made out of either wood or ceramic, but I like this one the best. It works well with it's lightness and smooth surface. The stainless steel makes it easy to clean. The markings on the rolling pin are a little bit difficult to see, especially, when there's a little bit of flour on it. I don't think they're very useful. The thickness rings are a nice addition, and I use them a lot. The threading takes a lot of turning to change the rings, but still it's worth it to be able to use them.

This is a great product overall. The metal feels very durable, and the design has a high-quality, premium feel. I originally purchased it to roll dough, but its sturdy construction makes it surprisingly versatile—I can also use it to crush garlic cloves without worrying about damaging the rolling pin. Its strength and multifunctionality make it a reliable and valuable kitchen tool. The rings makes it perfect to smooth the dough and rolls very smoothly across.

We finally stopped using our kids' play roller and decided to get a REAL rolling pin lol. The stainless steel is smooth and has enough weight that you don't have to lean into it too hard to get results. Having the different sized rings is a MUST for pie crusts and cookies because everything comes out exactly the same thickness every time. It eliminates all the guesswork! The only thing worth noting is that the tube isn't airtight. When you're washing it in the sink, water gets inside the middle. It’s easy enough to drain, but the end caps are fitted very tightly, just not sealed. My wife has a hard time pulling them off to let the inside dry out, so I usually have to help her with that part. If you don't mind a little extra effort during cleanup, it’s a great tool that makes baking a lot more consistent.

No frills and works great! I would like to see a 1/2” guide, but at least there is a 3/8” guide. I put my shortbread dough between two pieces of parchment and the rolling pin worked like a champ through it. The dough was pretty hard from sitting in the fridge, so the rolling pin even works well as a mallet :) I like that the discs store on the end of the pin and the length of the rolling pin is perfect! It’s also very easy to take apart and clean.
