Cosmetically this is an improvement on the traditional peirced angle iron design. The paint was good and the locating ridges discrete. The tubular uprights are in two pieces and join with a strong threaded connector which is an improvement on the flimsy joiner of the angle iron type. Assembly is also relatively easy providing you read 🤓 and understand the instructions, every piece has a right way up. The unit is stable, even at the start of assembly with just one shelf and one upright and is very stable once all 4 uprights are fitted. A step stool may be required to fit the higher shelves. Take time fitting the locating collets, in the right locations they clip onto the tubular uprights and are then held captive by the shelf. If you have to force things you have not read the instructions; it literally drops together. The thread on the casters and feet is imperial 3/8 inch regular, 1/4" narrow, not 5mm as mentioned elsewhere. The Book Bat's review is a bit over the top but makes an important point. The collets when correctly fitted do not completely meet up but do interlock. After fitting a pair round the upright squeeze them together and rotate them to ensure the internal ridge is seated in a groove of the upright. When the shelf is installed the tapered bushes on the shelf compress the collets. If you understand the instructions it goes together like a dream, no need for any force. The result is surprisingly rigid. If you get it wrong it will not assemble⛔, full stop.

When I opened it was impresive to a very sturdy design.Managed to assemble after a little effort especially the shelves. String wheels and the tough frame was reassuring. Looked decent in my open plan living room where I spend a lot of time. I can easily moving it where I wish. It has optional base shoes which can replace the wheels for fixed location.

This trolley shelf is amazingly sturdy for the price and, as it rolls easily on some good-sized wheels, it allows me to use the whole cupboard space for storage by just pulling the thing out when I need to get something off it, then smoothly rolling it away again. It’s pretty large too! Simples!

Reasonable quality garage shelving unit for the price; we like that it's on wheels so can be moved around if needed. Good to store an array of items.

This came very well packaged with no damage at all. I guess critical reviewers of this point have been unlucky, and either gotten an item that has been returned and repackaged, or the delivery process has been too rough. But with Amazon, it is easy to return and get a replacement or a refund. It is very easy to assemble. Just be aware that plastic stoppers to put on the poles, has a lip on the inside that must fit in one of the rings on the pole, and the narrow end points to the top (in case you don't notice the arrow on the stopper telling the same). If you place them correctly they will stay in place with no support. There's a satisfactory little 'click' when you put each stopper half on correctly. Secondly do not put the top half of the poles on, until you have a stable foundation, with at least one shelf, it just makes it easier to handle, and there is no need to put the top halfs on until later. Always begin with the bottom shelf and work upwards. As soon as the bottom shelf is correctly alligned and mounted, the rest is easy peasy, and even the first shelf isn't hard to do, as the stoppers can be attached to the poles and then the poles can one by one be inserted in each corner. I found that doing this with the poles horisontally and the shelf vertical, made it very easy too. Then screw in the wheels or feet and raise it to upright position. From then on, it is a breeze. Don't use tools, if you've done it correctly, just give each shelf a firm push downwards, when it has been correctly positioned on the stoppers. And gravity is your friend, when you put stuff on the shelves it will make sure they stay in place. Highly recommended for all rooms, including a living room.

Much sturdier than I thought it would be. Easy to assemble (although the instructions are not at all clear). Moves easily and simple to tether to a wall for safety. Tall, lockable wheels make it easy to hoover under but there's a fixed foot option too - great for any room as well as utility and garage spaces. The best thing is the versatility of the shelves with options for multiple combinations. So impressed, I bought a second next day.

Ive become a superfan of amazon basics fpr the quality it delivers. These shelves come well packaged and comes also with all you need to install with a manual that is not confusing and even eith out manual it is easily DIY installable. The shining detail of it is that it comes with optional wheels that you can install to give you ease of mind while cleaning behind it or moving it to different place while keeping what on ghe shelves as it moves very sturdy and easily. I strongly recommend it

The rolling shelving was needed in my kitchen to hold all my small electricals. This item worked perfectly for that purpose. It is quality made, sturdy, and the black color looks decorative in a kitchen setting.....very good quality. Easy to put together once I knew that the shelves attach lip-down, and the clips holding the shelves are marked top and bottom and snap into locking place. The pieces are all labelled and the picture/directions are simple. Would highly recommend this product for storage shelving. Also like that the shelves can be adjusted height-wise to fit larger and taller then smaller and shorter items.

Arrivato nei tempi previsti in una confezione robusta. E' facile da montare. E' robusta. La posizione dei ripiani e regolabile a piacimento. Le ruote solide e grandi permettono un facile spostamento e una facile pulizia del pavimento senza necessità di spostarla. Ben fatta e adatta anche per interni (non solo in cantina o in garage). Lots and lots of little bits of black plastic round things that are only there for packaging purposes fall out everywhere as you unpack. Don't worry you don't need to save them!!! The shelves are very, very sturdy once assembled and roll around easily even with fully stacked shelves. Quite easy to put together on your own and need no extra tools.
