The seller contacted me with a very good email explaining how to use it properly and what I was doing wrong. I’m more than happy with both the umbrella and the seller. I have amended my rating to five well deserved stars. Review: Disappointing - I haven't been out in windy conditions yet, but the make doesn't really impress. The disappointment hit me right from the start when I opened the cylindrical carton and found an umbrella pouch in light umbrella fabric. The main reason why I purchased this item from this seller is because it was depicted with a lovely, sturdy, felt-look pouch which is very presentable. Without it, this is just a plain old umbrella (and not a very convincing one - which would have been acceptable if I had gotten a product that at least looked like the package deal in the picture). Oh well...
