Katzung's Basic and Clinical Pharmacology, 16th Edition (Lange Medical Books)

Very Nice for nurses

I am in a doctor of pharmacy program and use this as supplemental study go to. It is written very well and breaks things down great & has everything you need and go over in the program in it. Drugs, chemical effect, etc. Definitely a must have for PharmD

As in its previous editions, it is a student-friendly book that conveys the most up-to-date information in a format that the student can understand. If you are preparing for any medical exam and need detailed information about pharmacology, this book is definitely for you.

Excellent text in Pharmacology. I do not have the International Edition as shown. I have the American edition. Great condition.

So, 50 years after medical school, and10 years in retirement, I wanted to understand the basis of many newer drugs for my own curiosity. Text is easy reading, many diagrams and clinical vignettes. At 1200 pages, a stronger binding would garner a 5th star. I will comment again 1 year.

I bought this for my pharmacology class in grad school and unfortunately, I discovered too late for a return that there are missing letters throughout the text. Drug names are already hard to pronounce, so even more so when I'm trying to guess the missing letters. This is the newest edition, so I would try out the 15th edition first before buying this digital copy.

This is one of the best book of pharmacology that is available on this time. I highly recommend this book for every students, scientifics and physicians.
