A good pen - the Uniball Signo series
These are lovely pens, the ink flows nicely without blotting or mess, and helps me with my more artistic writing style. I've used these Uniball Signo 207 pens previously and then moved to the updated 307 pens. Alas, inexplicably, the 307 pens in black seem to be unavailable now. So I've moved back to the 207. Been using the Uniball Signo pens for many years and they, for me, are the best.

Beautiful pens! Can make 5 year olds and doctors appear like there handwriting is in script font!😉
These pens are my absolute favourites! They write so well you would think your five year old was an sign writer. Unfortunately the only bad thing about them is, that I work in a minor injury unit, and as we all know nurses are clever speedy stealth pen tea leafs! And my stock is drastically going down at warp speed, new box soon me thinks! However the staff are all happy and you can even read the doctors handwriting 😲😲! They write so lovely! And speedy delivery from this seller. Thank you

great pens, lousy on glossy paper.
Great pen, glides easily but not good for glossy paper as the ink doesn't dry quickly.

Best pens for writing
Fantastic value

Intermittent ink flow
30% of the time the ink flows intermittently which is infuriating. What’s worse is it is impossible to write over where the ink does not appear. In addition to this, the box arrived crushed.

Not as good as they used to be
Having previously used pens called this and found them very comfortable to write with, I wanted to have some more once I had used them all, hence this order, however the design has changed and now they are only ok rather than very comfortable and easy to write with which is a shame

I found one of these pens in one of those random boxes of craft supplies that tends to pile up when you have kids. It had to be at least a couple years old by the time I found it, but it wrote so smoothly and boldly that it instantly became my favorite pen. (That one pen you keep in your pocket or hidden under your keyboard; the one you refuse to loan out for fear of it getting stolen... If you're reading reviews for pens, you probably know what I mean.) I used it over the especially-rough 2020 holiday season for all my greeting cards, lesson plans, shopping lists, and even for inking and lettering a few illustrations and comic book pages. My hand glided across the papers with a confidence I didn't even know I had. When the findling pen began to wane, I realized I had to have more! My most recent favorites (a compromise between quality and quantity for the sake of economy) just didn't feel the same anymore... I realized I just couldn't go back. As a writer, calligrapher, and artist, I have used some very nice pens 'in my time' but these are by far the best for their price. PROS: The ink and roller ball are so lovely and smooth that you'll be inspired to write more! The ink has a strong color, especially if you allow for drying time (as opposed to blotting). Nice enough grip. If you're the type to accrue craft supplies in piles (like me) then buying some of these will be an awesome excuse to toss some older pens into the recycling bin. They seem to last forever. I put the findling through the gauntlet these past few months, and it's still going! I cracked the new pack to test them, and all 12 seem to be perfect. And apparently they have a pretty long shelf life. CONS: The ink does take a while to dry, especially on glossy papers. (Blotting helps, but it can also cause smearing and/ or fading. I learned the hard way! Please learn from my mistakes! Allowing time and space for air drying is best.) They're also a tiny bit more costly than my previous go-to pens, but the longevity, flow, and feel make them well worth it. I'll probably buy more of these to gift out for birthdays and holidays this year... and if I live long enough to use up (or lose... or have stolen... or run through the dryer...) the dozen I bought myself, I'll certainly buy more for myself as well!

I bought a box of the uni-ball 207 Rollerball Gel, Gel Retractable Roller Ball Pen Medium-0.7mm, 12 Pack with black ink and another box with blue ink. The pen fits snugly into my hand. Because I normally use a fountain pen, the uni-ball feels a lot lighter in my hand than I would really like. However, it writes easily and expressively, with a nice flowing line - not too thick and not too fine. It takes to the paper's surface very well, and its nib glides smoothly without any annoying scratching or roughness. In fact, it has the feel and appearance of a good-quality fountain pen ink on the surface of paper, except that, unlike most fountain pen inks, it doesn't fade. It writes almost as expressively as a fountain pen - not quite, but almost. It uses some sort of hybrid between gel and ink so that it has the feel of a good-quality ink. My only concern is whether the pen's gel will actually last a decent time. By a "decent time," I mean I would hope to get a good 3 month's usage out of the pen even with extensive daily use. I'm not sure at this stage if the gel will last that long as I can already see through the clear plastic chamber that the gel's level has diminished after two week's constant usage. But I'll write an update on how long the pen actually lasts once I've finished with one pen.

I read a review about these pens a couple of years ago. I do a lot of writing for work. They write smoothly and do not smudge. It is waterproof and does not smudge. They are also comfortable to hold. I have purchased these pens consistently for about two years and I have been pleased with them. I also buy the refills, so this is an added benefit.

I’ve used these excellent pens before and buying them in bulk is very useful. Remember, the ink in them is a gel and it is ‘wettish’ in texture and can therefore smudge. I would call the result a medium, not a fine line of ink. They are comfortable in the hand and well made. To me the product they produce on the page resembles writing with a fountain pen, which I quite like. If you prefer a dry, standard ballpoint-pen result, don’t buy this product.
