This Dove Men+Care 2-in-1 has easily become one of my favorite shower staples. The sandalwood and cardamom scent is fantastic — it genuinely smells like a quality cologne. It’s fresh, warm, and masculine without being overpowering. I’ve even had people comment on how good it smells. Beyond the scent, it performs really well. It lathers nicely, rinses clean, and leaves my hair feeling thoroughly clean but still soft and manageable — not dry or stripped. For a 2-in-1, it strikes a great balance between cleansing and conditioning, which makes it perfect for daily use. The pump bottle is convenient, and a little goes a long way. It’s also nice knowing it’s sulfate-free and made by a brand that’s consistently reliable. DOVE MEN + CARE 2-in-1 Shampoo + Conditioner Ginger & Coconut Oil Review I’ve been using the OVE MEN + CARE 2-in-1 Shampoo + Conditioner Ginger & Coconut Oil for Hydrated Hair for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed with how well it works for an everyday men’s hair care product. Scent: The ginger and coconut oil scent is clean, warm, and refreshing. It smells masculine but not overpowering, and it doesn’t linger too strongly after the shower—which I like since it doesn’t clash with cologne. Performance: For a 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner, this cleans really well. It lathers nicely and rinses clean without leaving buildup. My hair feels noticeably softer and more hydrated, especially compared to other men’s 2-in-1 shampoos I’ve tried in the past. Hydration & Feel: The coconut oil makes a difference. My hair doesn’t feel dry or brittle anymore, and it’s easier to comb through after showering. It hydrates without making my hair greasy or weighed down. Convenience: I like having shampoo and conditioner in one bottle—it saves time and space, especially for daily use or travel. This one actually delivers on both parts, not just shampoo with a conditioner label. Reasonably priced. Smells really good. My hair and beard come out clean and soft. A little bit goes a long way. The only downside is that my scalp is a little drier than when I use other shampoos.

I am waiting to use my other shampo first then I will use it but the scent is pleasant and the essential oil works great for dry scalp issues.

I normally don’t use 2-in-1’s because they dry the heck out of my scalp and lead to dandruff like dry scalp. And I’m a lover of all things Sandalwood, so when I saw this interesting plant based/infused 2-in-1 with a sandalwood scent I had to try it. WOW! Not only is the scent to die for, but the lather and ease of cleaning is phenomenal! And the best part, after the shower and dried, there is 0 dry scalp anywhere! Keeps your scalp actually moisturized. Super inexpensive very few “harmful” chemicals compared to most brands in this price range. And definitely a great value IMO. I’ve now gotten the entire line of Sandalwood products that Dove + Men Care make now. The bar soap, the body wash, shampoo+conditioner, the spray on AND stick DEO. I love it and they’ve now made it into my “Amazon essentials”. I do wish they had a sandalwood whole body deodorant similar to the Viking Revolution Sandawlood EDT but in a spray on from. Absolutely love this 2-in-1 got it in my subscribe and save rotation every three months from now on.

Smells great, cleans my hair. Marketing makes me feel like I'm doing something good for my hair.

UPDATE: I am updating my review and adding 2 more stars. I still does not make my hair much thicker, but I have realized it is slightly thicker than usual, even a day after washing. Still does not feel very soft so I think the conditioner is a mild one, so I am not as unhappy as I was initially, so I wanted to be fair, but I probably still will not buy again. Original review: I am surprised at the poor quality of this particular Dove shampoo/conditioner as it is usually one of my favorite brands. Makes my hair actually look thinner than Suave, and not soft. I have tried using smaller and larger amounts, and no matter how much I use or how long I rinse my hair, it still has the same effect as if I hadn't just washed my hair -as if there is still residue there. However, I would give it 10 stars for being cruelty free. Has a nice smell that lasts for a an hour or more, but I still can't give it more stars as I bought this for the purpose of thickening my hair. I am not ruling out all Dove products, just this one, but as far as shampoo goes, I will go back to Suave as it does work better.

I love this product smells amazing, leaves skin soft and refreshed. I also use for my dry scalp and it has helped a lot. Leaves hair smelling so good and shiny hair too. I leave it in the shower and both my husband and I use this product daily.
