Old Version, Cetaphil Rich Night Cream 50g

I would normally leave it longer to give a review but literally after the first night of use my skin calmed down. I suffer with sensitive combination skin and also hormones issues which cause my skin to break out in rashes or spots my skin was inflamed I applied this the first night the best morning was a massive difference my rash had calmed and my skin felt great. It's doesn't block pours like other creams do and does not feel too heavy on the skin it absorbs quickly and literally changed my skin overnight from day one. I also have the face wash and the daily moisturizer with SPF 50 I have used the face wash it's gentle and does not leave skin feeling right after use and the moisturizer is just as good as the night cream I'm really happy the creams are excellent value and quality and no flare ups calming to skin very impressed. I believe in honest reviews as I'm disabled and have to order on line all the time this cream has really impressed me over the years I have struggled to find the right one for my skin and I feel like I have finally found it at 42 years old.

I have always had great skin until my mid twenties and thyroid medication hasn’t helped. I’ve tried so many brands including for sensitive skin and still come out in hives or cystic acne. I started using the Cetaphil face cleanser (pump bottle) and this night cream two weeks ago and the results speak for themselves. It doesn’t have a scent and is very no frills but I would happily sacrifice all that for the results I am getting. This is the first time in my life I have not had a reaction to new products which shows just how mild they are. I am allergic to aloe Vera, tea tree and witch hazel which rules out a lot of products for sensitivity, but Cetaphil has triggered no allergic reaction whatsoever, it doesn’t sting, it doesn’t make my eyes run, it is just perfect for people with extremely delicate skin who are also having acne problems. I am over the moon with these results in literally two weeks my skin is transformed. A fortnight ago I was crying about how much acne was knocking my confidence and now it’s like I’ve been given a clean slate with my face. I’m going to delve further into the Cetaphil range, I already have the exfoliating cleanser but haven’t tried it yet as I’m so used to having to start slowly to remove the product that’s irritated me. I’m also going to start on the Daytime moisturiser. Cetaphil has transformed my skin and I feel so lucky to have found these products. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone.

I have had cystic acne in the past (treated with Isotetrinoin), so my skin is not only problem skin, but sensitive and damaged. This cream works wonders. Reduces my redness, doesn't clog my pores, doesn't make my skin sweat from being too thick, and soothes. The only thing I do not like is the smell

This is the best plain but still rich moisturiser that I've found (and I've been through so many). I have acne-prone, combination skin so my face is always somehow simultaneously both dehydrated AND oily, so it needs heavy moisturising that won't block my pores. This has loads of good ingredients for restoring and hydrating skin – out of interest as to why it works so well I checked every ingredient on Paula's Choice's guide to skincare ingredients and it's packed with great stuff. Because it's a rich night cream, it does leave a bit of a greasy film to stop it entirely rubbing off onto your pillowcases and to keep you moisturised overnight. Despite that, I also use it as a daytime moisturiser when my skin's feeling really parched, which gives a nice dewy glow under makeup but somehow without making it slide off. As far as I can tell it's fragrance free, it doesn't tingle or burn even in eyes, and is great on sensitive patches of skin to soothe.

I have seborrheic dermatitis, acne rosacea, sensitive, very dry and reactive skin. This product does not inflame any of my skin conditions. It is wonderfully moisturising for very dry skin. There's times when my skin even reacts to water but it has never reacted to this cream. It doesn't cure any of my conditions but keeps my skin well enough so that I can apply prescribed medications. Price point is great and it actually does what many much more expensive creams claim to do. Perfect for my daily skin routine.

Great Product and Great service

Wow wow wow! This is MIRACLE LOTION. I have combination skin but some areas are quite I work in the NHS and due to mask wearing all day my skin has become progressively worse over the last year - a lot of spots, hard lumps, red and angry - especially aroung my jaw line and chin. dry. I have been using this for 5 days and I have noticed an incredible improvement in my skin condition already. I have used this cream, in conjunction with the daily defence cream and cleansing wash. After the first day I noticed an instant reduction in irritation in my skin after a day at work. My skin looked less angry and I didn't seem to have any new spots. I am now on day 5 and the hard lumps and redness have almost gone! The reason I bought this was because it doesn't block your pores - I read somewhere that this helps with reducing skin issues when wearing masks. I wish I'd known about it sooner. I highly recommend you try if you're having trouble with spots!!!

i have had a recent bout of Acne and whilst using a skin treatment which made my skin peel, dry and red i couldn't find a balanced moisturiser - i tried this as i already use the face wash and cleanser. i find this cream to be a great moisturiser but it is very rich!! for anyone that suffers from Acne this made me Panic!! i feel this is a very heavy cream, so a a little goes a long way, but doesn't block my pores like other moisturisers - i have been using this for 2 weeks and i haven't had any new breakouts.
