It's BRIGHT AF! - Note: the clips in the pictures don't come with the headlamp, I bought them separate. I added the tape as well, not because of any flaw in the lamp but because I don't like my sh|t to move or rattle on me; I also have my head in tight quarters bumping into things so no matter what headlamp I use, I'd be taping it up to secure it solid. I'm currently working with a construction and am often in tight or dark places where I need a bright headlamp or flashlight. The headlamp I had used AAA batteries but I couldn't tell if the batteries were old or if the lamp just wasn't strong enough. So I searched for the most powerful one I could get my hands on, that had a reasonable price. This DanForce is so bright, it's just short of a friggin' light saber. It's too bright! Even on the lowest setting (the two side bulbs) it's bright af! The good: it's bright as hell, it has a rechargeable battery that you just plug in at the end of the day, the batteries that came with the lamp lasted all day. I didn't have the lamp on all day, but it was a good half of a 10 hour day. Sadly, I purchased two additional battery packs that I'll probably never use since the batteries that came with it are strong as hell. The pivot system is excellent. When I change the angle of the headlamp I can feel a solid "click" as it locks into place; something I like. I believe there are 4-5 different angles, very well designed. The casing is solid. It came with colored discs, which I don't need and don't know why anyone would use them, but it's still an option. And when the lamp is on, the battery pack has a dim glowing light that's handy for other workers to know where you're at, in the event something on a construction site kills you and you end up face down in the mud with your light submerged; I like to think it's a value add safety feature. I like the spiral wire going from the battery to the headlamp. It just looks and feels more industrial to me, like I'm ready for hard work. The bad: It's too damn bright. Literally, you will burn someone' retina off if you flash them with this lamp. So I'm always having to either angle it up, above people's heads or turn it off. I had to take a black Sharpie to the lenses to decrease the brightness. I work indoors, so maybe it's better for workers outside; if you work outside, then this is the headlamp to get. I don't like having to flip through all 4 light settings to turn it off; but this is a complaint of mine for all head lamps. There should be two buttons: an on/off button and a settings button so all you have to do is push one button once to power on or off. But nobody ever thinks to make this. Lastly, it's rather heavy. After 10 hours a day of having this on with a hard hat, it starts to ache. But, it comes with having the power to burn through metal. I would have given the light 4 stars, but they don't deserve it. It's a solid piece of equipment and I will definitely get it again, if needed. And If I ever need to go looking for a boys soccer team lost in a cave in Thailand, then this is the headlamp to get. I wouldn't even look at anything else. I'm also a biker (bicycle) with 3 tail lights and one bright headlight. I don't wear a headlamp when biking, but if you do, I HIGHLY suggest getting this headlamp to keep idiot drivers aware of your existence. Stay safe, stay bright af! Review: Let There Be Light! - Great light for the price. This Headlamp is much brighter than the typical AAA battery powered units I was accustomed to. As others have mentioned, the battery compartment cover leaves a bit to be desired. It’s just a silicone snap on lid essentially but it’s never come loose and once it’s on your head, the batteries can’t fall out or come loose due to the headband pressure helping keep the cover in place, minor issue overall. Also, this light is nowhere close to 6,000 lumens. That being said, it is still very bright and the output compairs to some of my high end flashlights rated in the 800-1,000 Lumen range. If I had to guess, I’d say the seller meant to list it as 600 Lumen’s, not 6,000. The headlamp is comfortable and very practical for a variety of applications. I’ve worn it for hours at a time and almost forget I have it on after a while. The output from any of the 3 settings is more than enough light for any tasks I would run across. If anything, the low setting should be lower so you can use it to read, or for walking around at night in a situation where you want the minimum light possible while still being able to see where you are going so as not to disturb night vision too much. It’s a sub $40 headlamp including at least $6-8 worth of low end 18650 batteries so those reviews complaining of build quality need to consider the cost and performance. It is a plastic housing light but seems sturdy considering the materials used. Does it feel indestructible?, no. Does it work much better than its price would indicate?, absolutely. If this light holds up for a year or two, I would feel like I definitely got my money’s worth. The battery’s they provide work fine, but if you want ultimate run times, brightness, and reliability, simply pick up a set of Orbtronic 3500 mah 18650 batteries and you will add 2hrs or more of runtime on the high setting just from the battery upgrade. If you want a light that you depend on with your life and that can handle 30ft drops, this probably isn’t for you. If you want an amazingly bright, adjustable hotspot, with great runtime, comfort, and great price point, BUY THIS!

!Updated for center lamp fix. Great headlamp. Very bright with lots of functions.
Update: After some extended use I experienced what others have referred to as a center lamp burn out. After taking the lamp apart to look at what went wrong, I noticed one of the 2 wires had come loose. Also, the center lamp module wasn't stuck to the back of the metal cup very well which can cause poor heat dissipation. I have deducted a single star for this because the price is so low and only 1 of my 2 lamps had this problem. The fix cost $12 in glue and I have enough glue to fix many more lamps if needed. Now for the fix.. 1) I ordered some 2 part heat conductive but non-electrical conductive epoxy $12 for a 2 tube mix that will last for a very long time $12.35 - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HTV1TXA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 2) I unscrewed the face of the lamp where there are 4 half circle indents by using a pair of needle nose pliers and spread them apart into the half circle indents and unscrewed it (Right = Tight, Left = Loose). 3) I cleaned the lamp module and the inside of the cup well with fingernail polish remover Alcohol would also work. Previously just a thermal paste was used so it didn't adhere to the back of the cup well. 4) I tossed the little white plastic part that was on top of the lamp module because it had melted a little and was blocking some of the light. 5) Applied some mixed epoxy to the back of the lamp module and pressed it into place. It takes 5 min to do the initial cure 6) Soldered the loose wire back to the terminal where it was previously and reassembled the light. Again using the needle nose pliers I screwed the front cover back on after giving the lens a good wipe down. Total time for this fix is about 10 min and I would recommend letting the epoxy stuff cure overnight before leaving the light on for an extended period of time just to allow it to cure without heat. Original: I have had similar headlamps in the past and so far this one is brighter with more features. I ordered 2 so I would have a backup and I can see now I should have ordered a few more for gifts. - The fit is great and adjustable - Charging is made easy with the supplied charger and cord - Top click instead of the back click is really nice - Simple modes of operation without the need for long press

Great headlamp
Took a little time getting used to the length of the lamp. The plate behind the lamp doesn't conform to the shape of my hard hat, however I don't think it was designed to be used for this so it's no big deal. Both the main and two side lamps work great, are very bright and have a great field of view. UPDATE: Been using this headlamp for I think 4 to 5 months now and it still works great. It's incredibly durable. The battery will usually last me 2X 12 hour night shifts. By the end of the second shift it is noticeably dimmer. The batteries charge nice and fast. The focus feature on the main light is really useful also. I don't really use the green and red tints for the headlamp. Really recommend this purchase! Couldn't be happier with it. FURTHER UPDATE! The headlamp died unfortunately. It lasted me almost an entire year which was great because I really put it through the ringer. Eventually it just fell apart. Was great value for the price. One odd quirk about the headlamp is that it will occasionally get switched on if you have a radio and that radio receives a signal. Not too inconvenient personally, though your co-workers may get zapped every now and again. Which has great comedic value and should not be overlooked. Keep an eye on it when you store it. I had it a few times where it switched on in my bag because of this and drained the battery. Still a great headlamp!

Great product!!! But with MAJOR design flaw!!!!!!!!!!!
Love these!!! So bright!! Last a long time!!! Super adjustable!!! Rear red LED is a great add on!!! --- BUT --- There is a major design flaw........they do not have low voltage cutoff. Meaning if you leave them on, (say for example when your kid falls asleep with them turned on when camping) it completely discharges the included 18650 batteries to zero volts. Went to charge the batteries and they read zero volts. I do not use the included charger as I have a multi chemistry aftermarket charger for anything lithium. But I worry had my kid plugged these in if the overcharge would have caused a fire. Not to mention my included batteries are now garbage and have to be replaced at my cost! If you are going to design your product to use lithium batteries, it MUST include a low voltage cutoff that stops the discharge at 3.7 volts!!!!!!!! Still love these, but will be wary of their use now.

Impressive! Good for macro photography?
Impressed I was. I was impressed first by the quality build of the product. It was easy to adjust to fit my head and it sits comfortably. It's easy to adjust the main light from a bright focused square spot (same shape as the LED) to a nice soft but bright circle several feet wide. I found widening the main lens to a large soft circle and adding the two focused converging smaller leds creates a great combination if you are walking or hiking. The center is bright like having a flashlight in the center of a floodlight. I was very pleased at the brightness of the headlamp. The main is very bright when used alone. The two smaller leds are nearly as bright as the main light when used alone but they are not adjustable like the main. When the main light is focused and the two smaller LEDs are on together, I don't see any significant difference in brightness, but open up the big light and use the smaller for spot light and you have a very clear path ahead. I can't speak for longevity of the product since I've only had it a few days but it looks built well enough to hold up over time. Another note: I plan to try using this for macro photography. Open up the beam on the main light and you have a very well lit subject with an offset light source.

SUPER BRIGHT!
Update: it completely fails to turn on now. batteries are probably bad, or the wiring. I only used it that one camping trip. No support, waste of money. This headlamp is BRIGHT AF, however I had a few issues with it turning on and off. The batteries are installed properly and I checked all the connections. The unit itself is a little clunky, and if it wasn't for the turning on and off part (pretty much the main point of the device), I'd give it 5 stars. Usually I have to jiggle everything and take batteries out, put them back in. It's not a huge deal, but there wasn't much I could do since I was already camping. Choosing not to return the product unless it really fails because I don't want to go through the hassle since it does work -- however if you have this issue, you might want to send in for a replacement right away. Great value for the price otherwise, and all my friends were insanely jealous of my extremely bright light!

Ultra Bright and a single charge can last for up to 4 days (2 hrs of use per day) or 8 hours of continous use. Great investment!
I think this is a great headlamp, probably the best product on the market when it comes to headlamps. The 6,000 lumen light is ultra bright and had everyone at my work going wow, I gotta get me one of those, lol. I work as a marine electrician on military ships and submarines and in the poorly lit or dark spaces, it comes in real handy so I can do my work. One of my co-workers liked the headlamp so much, he asked if I could order him one so I did and he just loves it, uses it everyday at work. I also love that it has rechargeable lithium ion batteries that truly last about 8 hours, and considering if ur doing the kind of work I do, that charge can least almost 4 days before u need to recharge the batteries (roughly 1 to 2 hours of use per day). This really is a great headlamp and would highly recommend it for the venture goers or the ones hard at work in the most unique of places, so buy this headlamp, best investment I ever made and I'm sure you will most certainly agree too.
