Works on a KLX250S
In short, this does work and has the same cam as the KLX250S stock throttle tube. You just need to remove the end cap of this tube to fit it to the stock handlebar and control location. See the pictures. I purchased this to add heated grips on my 2009 KLX250S because it is relatively cheap and I did not want to clean and grind the lip off my stock throttle tube. The cable cam is the same as the stock Kawasaki throttle tube, and tube length is perfect for the stock handlebars and control position. In order to get this tube to work with the stock bars and control location, you must remove the endcap that comes on the tube. The easiest way I found to remove the end cap was to place the tube on the handlebar and slam it down the handlebar so the the end of the bar hits the cap and pops it off. From there, I cleaned the handle bar and sprayed it with some silicone lubricant, whipping off the excess, and positioned the tube and controls to finish the installation. On the stock handlebars, the throttle tube is about 1-2 mm short and the bar does stick out some, so make sure not to fully seat your closed end grips against the end to avoid any issues with the throttle sticking or moving sluggishly. I used open ended Oxford heated grips for my install and glued a home made cap to the ends of them. Use your own judgement when installing your grips, and make sure everything is free moving. I recommend dry fitting and marking fitment locations with a pencil.

Nice throttle tube
Nice throttle tube . Should fit all Yamahas or 7/8 handle bars. This fit my 2008 Yamaha FZ6 perfect. You do have to saw off the end of the tube if you have any attachments on the end of your handlebars you want to use

Worked on '03 SV650S, except a little hiccup.
Bought this because some reviews said it worked for SV650, I just want to document here that it in fact did work on my 2003. Was a mostly easy install, despite one hiccup: the "stops" of the tube that limit it's rotation within the cable housing (seen as extra material on either side of the two cable holes) are not quite tall enough, and end up binding inside housing. I filed it down a bit, though not sure if that was needed, bc I think the solution was to compensate by using the cable freeplay adjusters such that the stops don't touch anything inside the housing. Got it to work in the end, and throttle throw is much shorter as other reviews here state.

Drz400sm r6 throttle tube mod
Used on a drz400sm for the “r6 throttle tube mod” and worked good, feels alot more responsive. You just need to cut and match the tube with the oem one so the throttle cable doesnt get caught up when your throttle assembly is screwed into place.

This is going to be an odd review
I purchased this throttle tube based on recommendations from a forum to increase throttle response on my 2015 Yamaha FZ-07. The throttle tube itself is of decent quality and I was able to install it fairly easily, however it is identical to the throttle tube that was on my bike already. Now I don't know if the bike had it's original throttle tubed switched out, but I really doubt it as the entire bike is stock and has very low miles. Although I guess anything is possible as I did buy it used. But the throttle response before and after is still meh. Which made me think I thought I might have bought the wrong throttle tube, so I searched around and bought another, from another vendor based off a link from a different online recommendation. When that tube arrived, it was the exact same one as the one I bought here. Packaging and all. So I'm thoroughly confused.

Most bang for your buck
If you're modding a MT07 this will be the cheapest. Most noticeable difference as far as the bike being more responsive. Let slack out of cable. Install. Take out ALL the slack. Throttle will have no play. Now go take a ride n give her the old rolling throttle blip 😁😁😁😁😁
