Budget SRO
5 stars for form, value and function as long as it keeps working and holds zero. Will update if it fails. I shoot the optics divisions in USPSA and own two Trijicon SROs, a Sig Romeo 3 Max, and a Holosun 407. I purchased the UUQ optic to mount on my Buckmark 22 for inexpensive cross training. The housing of this optic looks robust, but the circuitry can be suspect on budget optics. So far, it seems it will hold up well when frame mounted to a 22 pistol or rifle. At first glance, it looks very similar to a Trijicon SRO with respect to size and overall design. The SRO is the gold standard for slide mounted competition optics. The window of the UUQ is as wide as an SRO, but not quite as tall. The footprint, shroud design, button placement, top loading battery, and overall aesthetic all scream SRO. The window size and overall dimensions are more like a large-window competition optic, and less like a low-profile carry optic like the RMR or Holosun 407/507. The larger window makes it faster to acquire this dot and easier to track it through recoil and transitions, but large window optics like this tend to print more under clothing and are less durable when dropped. The 2 MOA dot looks much larger at medium to higher brightness settings. Functionally, it looks similar to the 5 & 6 MOA dots on my SRO and Romeo 3. Larger dots are preferred by most practical pistol competitors for fast target acquisitions, speedy transitions, and tight shots out to 25 yards. I like it. A bullseye shooter might want a smaller dot. The dot is perfectly round when viewed through my good eye, but blossoms into a bit of a blob when viewed through my eye that has astigmatism; same as all my other red dots. Shake awake works as intended. Nice feature at this price point. The optic is packaged in a small Pelican-style case, just like a Trijicon. It includes a spare battery and all the tools necessary for mounting, battery replacement and windage/elevation adjustment. I used the picatinny mount to fasten it to the Tactical Solutions picatinny sight rail on my Buckmark. The mount is a bit loose in the slots, so you'll want to push it snug forward before tightening to make sure it is centered, and to keep it from shifting under recoil. I didn't do this the first time I mounted it and ran out of windage adjustment trying to zero; it was slightly crooked. All of the mounting screws have blue Loctite applied at the factory. Nice attention to detail. The optic comes with a functional rubberized dust cover. It is better quality than what came with my Romeo 3 Max. My Trijicon and Holosun optics did not come with dust covers. Overall, I'm impressed with the design and function of this optic at this price point. I get lots of skill carryover between the UUQ and my SRO/Romeo optics. My 22 with this optic is perfect for practicing strong and weak hand shooting without burning up expensive ammo. It would also work well for rimfire divisions in plate shooting and Steel Challenge. I wouldn't expect it to hold up to 1,000+ rounds a month of centerfire ammo , but I'm cautiously optimistic it will hold up to 500 rounds a month of 22 LR. No issues after the first few hundred rounds. It looks sweet on my Buckmark and it works great.

Unexpectedly great
I'll temper this enthusiasm by saying it's still relatively new, so we'll see how it holds up over time. But, I've gone through a number of red dots, and although they all more-or-less work, there's always been something missing, though I could never identify what. Somehow, this sight captures that, though I still don't know what it is. The huge viewing window certainly helps, a lot, the crispness of the dot is also noteworthy, it was incredibly easy to zero out (was almost there on arrival), the size is perfect, hitting the Goldilocks zone of not to large not too small, the low profile is nice, and the overall design is sleek. So maybe it's not that there's any one single stand-out feature, in as much as all of the features it does have simply work as expected. Maybe that's what's so unexpected, I'm used to compromises. But so far, this sight does everything it says, and is fun to use. The accuracy for me has been great so far, and it's holding, so I'm hopeful. I'm already planning on getting a second one. Again, we'll see how it fares over time, but at the very least, I feel I've already got my money's worth.

Surprised me...pleasently
Figured this thing wouldn't hold zero on a real firearm and would break pretty quick. I have 800 rounds through it. It's holding zero and the dot is sharp and glass is quite nice at this price point. Bomb proof? Not likely but definitely punches above it's weight class.

Nice quality
Seems like nice quality. Mounted on a 12ga shotgun. Easy to install and laser bore sighted it at home. I will take it to the range to try it out

Simple solution for a guy whose vision ain’t what it used to be.
Just purchased another one and all my hunting buddies have one now too. Works great on a slug gun! And I I now have one on my crossbow.

Avoid this like the plague. Really really wanted to like this optic but defective.
Unfortunately I could not give it negative 3 stars because it looks like an amazing optic until.. the windage and elevation adjustments are like the factory was built on a 31° angle as everything adjusts diagonally in extreme amounts, and it appeared that it was on just sent me somebody's return as packages were already opened inside and battery already installed real professional. While the site looks nice it can't hold zero or even adjust correctly without losing its place instantly after the first shot, in which I did try it to give it the benefit of the doubt on multiple things and multiple different fixes with no advance. This is not my first purchase or optic from this company and I've only had one that still had problems with the left and right turret adjustments having to make sure it pops back out to hold left and right zero. So besides this being the one thing on Amazon with customer service such terrible return from the day after purchase and it's looking like it's going to be 30 days before I get a return so I don't recommend you purchase this unless you have this much money to tie up and wait for a refund on, sadly all it's good for.. won't even work on air guns without compromising some sort of toy like "acuracy". If I could receive an optic from this company just like this that worked by adjusting or zeroing correctly it would be a 5 out of 5 stars but brightness was extreme if needed, apparently not very durable and fits well on wider or larger framed firearms keeping you an excellently large sight radius.
