iPad Mount- HomeHub Mount

I bought this to hang an iPad Air on the wall of my home gym, and for that purpose it works very well and looks good. Things I like: Silicone construction means no vibration noises and a snug and secure fit, even if you mount the iPad vertically. It holds the iPad away from the wall a bit, also aiding in vibration and allowing you to hide a cable box behind it (in case you want to run a cable through a wall). They include a clear, easy-to-use template for drilling holes in the wall in exactly the right position which is damned handy. They include a little cable holder/clip, which I didn't need but was a nice inclusion nonetheless. The mounting hardware includes washers so that when you tighten the screws you aren't twisting and distorting the silicone; someone was obviously thinking ahead here. VERY VERY MINOR THINGS that I'd like to see them address: They clearly intend on this mount to be installed on drywall; they include plastic wall anchors and matching screws. But the screws are just long enough for those wall anchors. If one or more mounting points happens to be over a wall stud the screws aren't long enough so you'll need to supply longer screws on your own. Increasing the length of the anchors and screws by another half inch would have solved this without compromising the ability to mount it into drywall. Also, although they include a brilliant template for drilling holes in the wall, they DON'T tell you how big the drill bit needs to be to properly mount the system. Sure, it's not a big deal to figure it out on your own, but since they paid attention to other details it seems very odd that they overlooked this.

Perfect for mounting my iPad in the kitchen so we can keep a calendar up. What’s nice is we can adjust the placement if and when we upgrade our iPad. Easy to install also.

Love this mount for my iPad Pro! The design is simple and my iPad fits perfectly. Easy to set up and works very well!

I’m not a DIY kind of guy, so I went with the cheapest, simplest mount I could find. It’s okay, but be prepared for some minor adjustments. The Pros: price. It’s much less expensive than most of the others. It’s also quite minimalist - no thick bezels. It’s made of a flexible silicone material - that’s both a pro and a con - the pro - it’s soft on your tablet - no scratches. It’s also somewhat flexible - I installed mine vertically in a tight space and there’s no room to slide the tablet in from the side. Instead, I have to seat it in the bottom mount and sort of snap it into place in the top. Given the flexibility of the material, this works fine. The cons: included with the mount are 6 each screws and wall anchors - no spares and no washers. The anchors don’t have any lip on the end so a couple of mine dropped into the wall cavity, making it necessary to go buy some spares. Also, the screw heads easily pull through the holes in the mounts when tightened. I fixed that with a handful of small washers which should be included with the mount kit. Also, my tablet (an old iPad Air 2) Is quite slim and doesn’t fit snugly in the mount so I put a short strip of thin silicone insulation behind it to better hold it in place. There is a slot in the center of one mount to allow access For a charging cable. Thoughtfully, it appears to be even wide enough for the old style wide Apple connector. Included is also a paper template for various size devices and a stick on cable retainer. Aside from the minor complaints about washers and wall mounts, I’m satisfied with the kit.

I have probably the original iPad which no longer receives OS updates. The iPad still looks new and is fully-functional. So, I had the idea to mount it in my kitchen to research recipes, check the weather, compile grocery lists, and I even use it to play music through a bluetooth speaker. I hate to get rid of technology that still functions flawlessly. This Elago mount is perfect to attach my iPad to the kitchen cabinet. The silicone grips the iPad, but is still flexible enough for wiggling/slight adjustments. The installation graph paper included with drilling holes marked worked flawlessly. This is a minimal, yet elegant mounting solution, which I am happy to have purchased and installed.

Works well as intended. Note that it is made of silicone and nothing will stick to it. I was intending using command strips but no stick. Also if you are installing a recessed power receptacle, make sure you think about the orientation so that it will fit between the mounts - If y9ou want to mount the iPad in landscape mode, then install the receptacle in landscape mode also. Nice product.

This product is really minimalistic and has a nice feel, but it is a permanent mount and cannot be adjusted. No rotation is possible, and it can’t be adjusted for different devices. The two pieces are permanently mounted.

We needed something easy, yet durable and appealing to mount the iPad we planned on using as a home hub. The bracket comes with a template that helps you mount it correctly. We used a laser level to ensure our top and bottom points were aligned. We put it on a stud so we swapped out the drywall screws it came with for some of ours and two stud screws. It worked great. Feels very secure and the iPad fits perfectly. We ordered a magnetic holder for the pencil we will place next to this mount. Overall, very happy with the purchase.

For the money, I can’t complain. I spent several weeks looking for a mount for an older iPad which we intended to uses as part of our smart home set up. Elago’s mount, fit the bill. While there are other mounts out there. The Elago mount also allows for the use of other device, although there is a caveat with that. The supplied template shows the drill holes for several different size/models of iPad, if you intend to change your mounted device to a larger size, you will need to keep the paper template for future use. The mount comes well packaged and includes the previously mentioned paper mounting template, screws and core plugs. While I found the mounting straightforward, due to the different colours used within the template, others may find this more challenging. You will also need the use of an electric drill and drill bits, in my case, masonry drill bits as I was mounting to brick work. While this mount is made of a soft plastic/silicone like material, it holds the iPad very well while allowing access to the buttons and ports. If you are mounting in the vertical, there is a gap in one mount for your charging cable. While holding the iPad firmly, I am able to remove and replace with ease. Only time will tell how the mount holds up to continual use. Other than that I am very please with the iPad wall mount.

I can't stop talking about this iPad Wall Mount. The price is a grab to start. Feels like high grade silicon. Soft and smooth to touch. Came with proper instructions how to to mount the different size iPads. I installed the mount in 15 mins. It permanently holds my iPad mini on the wall.
