Osmo Pocket 3 Battery Handle, Compatibility: Osmo Pocket 3

Love these batteries, I had bought some aftermarket ones to try but nothing like the DJI one. I did have one I had to return but with the replacement I have no issues at all. It also extends the bottom and Macy’s like a grip and it has the mount on the bottom for a stand as well.

This is an essential accessory if you have a DJI Osmo Pocket 3. I would have purchased the creator combo that has this included but it was never in stock. This is way more reliable than some of the off brand battery extensions I've tested in the past. It works seamlessly and the osmo shows the battery life for the device and the extension on the screen. Its extremely easy to install. I actually prefer to keep this extension on it at all times when filming because the length of the whole device is much more comfortable.

Does what you need it to, and most importantly, allows for the transmission of audio, unlike the generic battery extenders out there.

I’d get another one of these. I can film all day with this extra battery handle. I love that it gives the pocket 3 extra length to hold on to. It charges the pocket 3 battery while in use and you can charge both at the same time when connected. The clamps on the side could be improved. You should check to make sure you don’t need to manual click them into the pocket 3, otherwise it won’t be sturdy and secure. I do think it could be much cheaper but good to have around.

Very good product. However, I had a hard time setting it up the first time because the language was in Manderine (Chinese)

Out of all the Osmo Pocket 3 compatible battery handles it does seem to be rather pricey for the small capacity of only 950 mAH. Paying about $70 for only 950 mAH seems kind of overpriced. Other competing products advertise 4000 to 5000 mAH for almost half the price. But when you try things out for real you find out the DJI made battery handle has some extra smarts that the non-DJI branded batteries do not have. The non DJI branded battery handles tend to provide a weak charge to the Osmo Pocket 3. Because of the weak charging the non DJI branded battery handles can allow the Osmo Pocket 3 run out of battery power despite having plenty of charge left over inside the battery handle. This means that some of that advertised high capacity of the non DJI branded battery handles go to waste. This DJI branded battery handle has smarts so that when you have it plugged into Osmo Pocket 3 and then connect a charging cord to the DJI battery handle, the Osmo Pocket 3 display shows both internal and battery handle charge status at the same time. Even more importantly the DJI branded battery handles make sure to drain itself completely before allowing the internal battery to start draining. This is very significant because it means that if you had more than one DJI branded battery handles you could video non stop. Each DJI battery handle would power things for about 90 minutes and then you can hot swap out for a new DJI battery handle without even stopping a video recording. This characteristic is even more important in extending the overall life of the internal battery of the Osmo Pocket 3. With more than one DJI branded battery handle you can keep the internal battery of the Osmo Pocket 3 at 100% charge all the time. Doing this would extend the overall life of the Osmo Pocket 3 product. If DJI ever came out with a product with more capacity or a more ergonomic handle I'd give that product 5 stars. As it stands I can only give this product 4 stars.

Nice compact OEM battery for the op3! Price could be better but you get what you pay for! The grip matches that on the op3 and the battery handle is easy to use by simply snapping it on.

Poignée batterie originale DJI pour osmo pocket 3. Etonnamment légère, elle se fixe parfaitement et est reconnue et mise à jour automatiquement. Ajoute une bonne préhension pour l'osmo pocket, la prise en main s'en trouve améliorée. L'autonomie était quand même réduite d'origine, avec cette poignée elle devient plus de raisonnable. A noter la fixation à vis sous la poignée pour fixer un trépied par exemple. Bon produit !

Perfetta e molto utile

The battery life is impressive. I could charge it, carry it around, and even leave it unused for a month, and it still retained its charge, which was surprising. Overall, it works great!

Si bien la cámara aguanta bien para grabaciones cortas, esta batería te permite usarla por mucho más tiempo sin preocuparte de recargar. Es uno de esos accesorios que parecen opcionales… hasta que te das cuenta de que lo necesitas. Si tienes la Osmo Pocket 3, esta batería es una inversión muy recomendable.
