There’s no need for a display or extra features—everything is simple, user-friendly, and effective for cleaning. Spending more than ₹15,000 just for technology isn’t worth it. I purchased the Haier 6 kg 5 Star Oceanus Wave Drum Fully Automatic Top Load Washing Machine on 16 January via Amazon. While the product description and specifications seemed promising, my overall experience has been extremely disappointing due to a defective unit and unacceptable service handling. Product Quality: Unfortunately, the washing machine I received was defective right out of the box. The installation technician from Haier confirmed the defect on 20 January and advised that the unit needed replacement. A brand-new product should never reach a customer in this condition, especially from a reputable brand like Haier. After-Sales Experience: This is where the experience became far worse than the product issue itself: • Despite multiple calls to Amazon customer service, the promised inspection visit never occurred on schedule. • After repeated follow-ups, I was informed the product was scheduled for pickup, but the pickup team never arrived. • The status was later incorrectly updated as “product not ready for pickup”, even though it was fully packed. • Customer service repeatedly asked me to wait unnecessarily, with no real progress. • The escalation process was ineffective, with long hold times and inadequate responses. The agent handling my case appeared unprepared and unable to provide clear resolutions. Service for Prime Members: As an Amazon Prime member, I expected priority support and timely resolution. Instead, this issue has dragged on for more than 10 days, with requests to wait yet again, which is unreasonable. Would I Recommend This Product? At this point, I cannot recommend the Haier 6 kg 5 Star Oceanus Wave Drum Washing Machine due to the defective unit I received and the associated poor customer service experience. Purchase this product only if you are prepared to deal with potential quality issues and a prolonged after-sales process
