Counters for Kids Math 800 pcs Plastic

Used for a First Grade classroom. Good quality and I predict it will last for many years.

Just what I needed for my class

We homeschool, and I am constantly looking for something to use as counters for math, in games, etc. I love the fact that this set has so many pieces, for a great price! Unfortunately, the tub that these come in is a cheaper plastic. (You get what you pay for.) The plastic is flimsier than I would like for something like this. The tub did not stay closed in transit, and many of the pieces spilled out of the tub, into the box. Since the box is not totally sealed, I'm hoping that non of the pieces fell out in transit. However, since there are so many pieces, I'm not overly worried if a few dropped out.

These are great! Just what I needed to work with my 7th graders on adding and subtracting integers. I do wish that different colors were available. I picked up some small containers to store them in, that made them easy to hand out quickly. I will definitely need more for next year.

Fun for my toddler, but not so “fun” that she’s distracted by them and take off-task from a counting game or pattern game. Love that there’s so many pieces too. Will last a long time.

This box of counters is good for practicing counting and for helping my 6 years practice her addition and subtraction. These are great for a classroom setting or a group of kids studying together. They are thick plastic so they will take the wear and tear kids will put on them. The bin is a bit flimsy in the sense that the latches keep coming off the box so I will probably end up putting them in a different container.

I loved that these came ready to use and not in individual bags that needed to be opened. It cones in a tub with a lid and handle. The counters are plastic and well made. Great for the classroom or teaching counting. It’s a large amount of counters for a good price.

These counters are a wonderful addition to our school supplies shelf. Since there's 800 pieces I doubt we'll every encounter an activity where we don't have enough of these. The different colors on each side are really handy especially in math when we're modeling basic addition and subtraction problems. Having a plentiful supply lends itself well to estimating and skip counting lessons too. We've used them in games, and I am going to use these to teach our kids how to play othello.
