Has its limitations, if there a lot of small sharp edges it will get stuck on these and it’s a huge headache getting it off, otherwise it’s a great product for anyone airbrushing, just something to keep in mind

Who needs fiddly masking tape when you’ve got Modelcraft Masking Putty? This stuff is a game-changer for model makers like me who are tired of painstakingly cutting tiny bits of tape that never quite stick the way you want them to. Instead, I just roll this putty out, smoosh it into the shape I need, and suddenly I’ve got the cleanest masking lines I could ask for, without the hassle or the grumpy face.It’s almost like playing with Play-Doh, but with a much cooler outcome (sorry, childhood nostalgia). The putty is super easy to mold and remove, leaving no residue behind, which means my paint job comes out crisp without any weird sticky aftermath. It's especially great for curves and those awkward corners that masking tape loves to mess up. Plus, it’s reusable, so I get to feel environmentally responsible while also feeling like a masking pro.Only downside? Maybe just that once you start using it, you’ll never want to touch masking tape again. This works great. Just remember when trying to remove some from the rest in the tin that you need to pull it hard and fast, If you pull it slowly it just becomes very sticky stringy stuff. It's a bit like 'Silly Putty' but that is too greasy for masking kits.

Excellent masking putty. Easy to apply and to remove. Perfect for hard to reach places and rough surfaces. Round and wave shaped camo patterns can easily be created. One of the tools that I wish I had found/used earlier!On the last pic you can see how it all coes together.
