Game changer!! I’ve been wearing a 4x5 hair topper for multiple years, have really fine hair along with a halo of hair loss. I bought a medium and small to try out. Thrilled for the secure fit of my topper! The medium worked best, had a little extra fabric in middle that was not noticed at all wearing it, very comfortable and secured even during my taekwondo class. I first tried without adding the the center clip on my topper and it was fabulous! I now added a center clip to see if it makes more of a difference before adding clips to my other toppers, I can’t say I noticed much difference, really nice product, does a great job holding hair in place, I ordered a second one! The clips that came with the being color band was actually brown, I bought beige ones for my blonde topper, much better blend. The small one I am sending back, not enough fabric to reach across the 4x5. Also the clear band is a nice strength, very happy to find this.

Now that the weather is warming up, toppers vs. full wigs are much more comfortable but they've never really felt secure and the clips can hurt. This little miracle works great to keep the topper secure and comfortable. Some reviews say it doesn't work well, but you have to make sure you put it on with the velvet going the right direction so it "grips" your hair. If it slips, just turn the band the other way and voila!

Does not stay in place. Don’t understand how you keep the elastic cord at the base of your head/neck. Lifts the back of my hair up. Didn’t work at all way too expensive for a piece of material with elastic cord. Should tell you in the description that if you have thin hair, it’s not going to work or if you don’t have some big knot at the bottom of your head to hold down the cord it’s not going to work it just lifts my hair right up and looks ridiculous. Very disappointed.

I love the idea. The wire is perfect. But size small is tiny. I think measurements need to be included. I meant to return it for a medium. But I forgot. I’m not sure of anyone can use this size. It is 5 inches long. The space to clip in in only 3 1/2 inches long.

This does help keep my topper from sliding back, which is helpful when I wear a pony tail. However, the elastic band (halo wire) slides up the back of my head. I’ve tried tightening and loosening the elastic band. The halo wire on my topper stays in place so it’s not user error. The cloth slides back a little on my fine hair, but it still works well enough. As to the materials, the value is not there. It’s an elastic band and a little cloth.

Weight is fine, fits well and good value

This thing is amazing. I have a small head and most wigs caps are large for my head. I have tried the silicone bands which worked okay but I still needed to use bobby pins or a headband to make my wig feel really secure. I received this today and was not expecting much as I have tried many different wig grips. This thing like sucked my wig to my head and it's comfortable. What I like the best is it's not the same width all the way around like your silicone ones which I am always trying to tuck the sides up inside my wig so it does not show if I wear my wig up or behind my ears. Thus tucking the wig band up above my ears under my wig the silicone band lost some of its grip so in come the bobby pins and head bands. The band is wide where it grips my wig at the front and then there is a stretchy very thin almost like the string you use for making jewelry. When I first opened it I though oh great looks like fishing line!!! LOL But when I used it and tugged on my wig I was amazed. It did not budge. I'm glad I took a chance and paid the extra price. Just hope it holds up. I guess time will tell but right now I am totally impressed with this wig grip.

Great concept with the thin invisible elastic to go under your bio hair and it may be ok with a topper without a lace front. However it still would not be too secure because the only things holding it on your head are the thin elastic band and hopefully your clips if they line up. It does not have any fabric that adheres it. I spent over an hour removing and repositioning the clips on my topper to line it up with the slots on the band. I was so disappointed that even after that, the lace front on my topper buckled up and would not lay flat on my forehead. I have the other Milano larger lace front band grip and it works well with my wigs and adheres them securely. Milano needs to make a version exactly like that with a thin elastic back band that can not be seen to be used with a lace front topper.
