Great High Quality ATX 3.1 PSU (2026 Update)
UPDATE: When I originally ordered this PSU it was ATX 3.0 and my unit had some issues with mild coil whine even after a replacement. I switched to an NZXT C1500 and sold the original PSU to a friend. I had originally given the PSU a 4-star rating. I just changed my PC case to downsize my build foot print as such while the NZXT C1500 fit it was the maximum possible PSU length and I couldn’t reinstall the cable/SSD cover and so I decided to reordered this PSU. I was pleasantly surprised to see that its been refreshed and it’s now an ATX 3.1 with a 12VHPWR 2x6 it’s got a really distinct blue head on the connector now which will easily tell you if it’s fully seated hopefully mitigating any issues or potential fire hazards. Another new surprise is that now Seasonic includes cable combs for your PSU cables. I always thought this was a strange omission since they made such a big deal about the individually sleeved cables. This makes the cables look much cleaner in my build and overall elevates the PSU compared to before. The last and nicest surprise for me is that at idle or under load my PSU is nearly slient. I can’t hear any coil whine and it’s only audible via the fan when my ear is directly next to the case where the PSU is. This is excellent and now the only coil whine I hear in my build is rather obnoxiously from my 4090 FE. Overall this is great revision to an already excellent PSU. My only real gripe is the price. There are plenty of other PSUs in this spec at lower price points. That said Seasonic is well known for their reliability and honoring their lengthy 12 year warranties without fail. New rating for the ATX 3.1 variant is 5-stars.

Exactly what you get and well worth it!
Runs great. Fantastic warranty. Comes with all you need just can’t fit in place of a tiny PS. It’s full size. Great price especially with a Longer than average warranty. If you have a newer case ( not like smaller Dell or such it takes almost no time to install. Even comes with the new 12pin connector for the latest and greatest GPU. As far as heat, far less of a problem than cheaper power supply’s. I run Server with 7 drives and dual Xeon processors. Heat has not been a problem for me. Runs warm but considering it’s 1200watts, it’s average on the cooler side.

Runs a 5090 without spending a fortune. Seasonic quality.
As expected from Seasonic it works perfectly and has plenty of cables. The were nice enough to send me the updated power cable for my 5090 for the cost of shipping despite being past the 90 day cutoff from day of purchase. It hasn't melted yet after a couple months of gaming. Power supply is quiet and I don't notice it. As it should be.

In love with seasonic
Never been disappointed. After replacing the power supplies in my computer room from junk brands to seasonic, the waste heat went down immediately. I didn't really notice until the next summer, but clearly quality PSUs are worth. I've only had a single seasonic PSU fail of the ~8 or so I purchased and they RMAd it and have no issues with the replacement. Happy customer.

Seasonic Vertex GX-1000-1000W
Solid , heavy construction , 10 yr warranty . Seasonic is the premium of all power supplies When I buy a power supply I never skimp on quality , and I buy way over what I need . any PSU will only put out what is needed so If the system is needing 700w and its a 1000w psu ot will only put out 700w and run cooler then a psu that has to work at 100% and run hot and stress it out and shorten its life. I like the braided cables , each wire individually wrapped , but still flexible . The only con is that their is no 4 pin CPU cable , just 2 8 pin cables and their made as one unit so no way to put them in a 4 pin motherboard connector

Amazing. No noise, works very well, braided connections, plus it has an A+ rating on the PSU tier list

DEAD after less than 5 months.
Worked great for not even five months. 7800X3D, 4090, Asrock PG650 lightning mobo. Worked great, then one day computer wouldn't turn on at all. Removed power supply , plugged in the " Test " plug, yeah, sure enough that worked. plug it back in.... nope. wouldn't turn on. swapped over to my 11 year old Corsair TX850W (non modular, oh well) works like a champ even in retirement. Looks like i'm getting another corsair.

It's a Seasonic
The perfect power supply. Have two others in operation for several years without any problems. This one I am trusting to a new and pricey gaming rig build. The twelve-year warranty is a plus; I know of one person who had a claim and they were happy with the resolution process and totally satisfied. The damage that had occurred took place during a severe weather event.
