My cats love their Pro Plan essentials & this kibble rounds out their menu perfectly! Since it includes Purina's signature probiotics (vet recommended Fortiflora), there's no need for any additions. They eagerly eat it, there's no regurgitation and their coats & body weight/condition holds steady. I do feed them Pro Plan's canned as well, but find this kibble makes for an excellent midnight snack which holds them till morning.

My Vet recommended this because my Russian blue was getting diarrhea with the other brand I was using. Purina Pro Plan High Protein Cat Food With Probiotics for Cats did the trick and hes been regular ever since. Its a little on the spendy side but well worth it for your cats health.

GREAT QUALITY! Good value, little to no smell issues when opening- doesn’t have that “reeking” scent other brands do. Easy to use and the cats love it! Good bang for your buck.

My cat, Callie, is a Calico cat... who is now 7 yrs old. I got her when she was 5 from the local Humane Society. Her previous owners moved to Australia and had to give up all their pets to do so... I was told that she ate only Pruina Cat-Chicken and Rice - Cat Food. So I got that for her and when I would try to add any other small amounts of Purina Chicken & Rice type of cat food to her dish... she would throw up. So I gave up trying to get her on a better grade of Purina cat food. Until I got this pro plan... Purina Pro Plan Dry Adult Cat Food, Chicken and Rice Formula in the 7-Pound Bag. I know that when you change a cat's food you do so in very small amounts over a long period of time and slowly add more of the new food as the cat tolerates it... Well, finally, Callie started to tolerate this cat food... in just VERY small amounts, mixed in with her usual, less expensive and less health inclusive Purina Cat Food...and LOW AND BEHOLD... she has been eating it WITHOUT THROWING UP! :-) That was 5 weeks ago... and I am slowly adding a ratio of 2:10 amounts now... I started out with 1:10 ratio... I mix it together in a large sized "Lock & Lock" container and keep it in my pantry. Callie is eating it and I am happy. The pieces of this cat food are smaller than the other Purina that I am feeding her... and she is able to chew it better without having small chunks falling all over... there are still some small chunks that fall out of her mouth, but only a few now. Less gets into her water dish too... I am VERY HAPPY with this Purina Dry Cat Food... and I will be very pleased when she is on it 100%... She is NOT a big eater... she eats only about 12 to 14 bites at a time, but she eats every 3 hours. This is a personal addition... not connected to this product... My cat will NOT eat unless I am standing in the kitchen watching her eat. But she does let me sleep thru the night, but once I am awake... she meows until I get up and walk into the kitchen to watch her eat. WHen I am on the computer... she will stand in the doorway and MEOW till I get up and go into the kitchen to watch her eat. I don't know what her previous owners did to train her for this... but each time she wants to eat... she will NAG with her MEOWS... :-) I never had a cat that did that before. She is a sweet, dear loving cat, so I guess it is not much to do for her in exchange for her loyal love.

We bought this for our cats who had trouble keeping their food down at times. the vet recommended a probiotic powder. it was $30 for 2 weeks for 2 cats. it worked but any other powder did not. then i saw the probiotic powder for purina pro plan. then i saw the same brand in this food and thought why buy them separately. they are eating the food after slow switching. they still have occasional throw ups. so if you feel your cat really needs it you can also buy the powder with your vet’s approval and download the app to get points ;) yay 🎉

My cat absolutely loves this food! She eats every bite, and I’ve noticed a big improvement in her energy levels and coat condition. The formula seems to keep her full and satisfied, and her digestion has been great. I appreciate that it’s made with quality protein and real ingredients — definitely worth it for happy, healthy cats.

My two little cats love this stuff, more expensive than I would like, but they are worth it. I feed them wet food as well and Temptations lickable treats.
