I really shopped around for finding the right sized mat for my space. I have had this mat for over a month and used it daily and sometimes more than once a day. CONS: The top of the mat isn't completely slip proof and while it is cushioned in comfort it is too soft. This make being in a kneeling position painful at times because it literally feels like your knee is on the hard floor. These were two of the main factors for buying this mat because i can't seem to find a mat that doesn't give in to the pressure. This one does. PROS: It's very large, durable, and great for meditative purposes. I usually lay flat when I meditate and this has been great for being able to lay flat in arm and legs spread out without touching the floor. I personally could have kept my money and purchased a mat that was more firm. Now I am looking for another mat because while this is large, if I have to pad it with my old yoga mat that was $20 bucks from Wal-Mart than I might as well just use the old yoga mat which was just the same as this one but just the regular small size. I need a firm mat that won't make me feel like I'm doing yoga on a hardwood floor.

I did a lot of research on yoga mats from the very high-end to the cheapest ones and settled on this mat a while ago. This is a very solid mat and has enough area for an average person (under 6ft) to stretch out. It comes in a very nice carry bag and three straps to hold it together when rolled up. Being rubber material, dust does catch on the mat but it is very easy to brush off and clean as well. I did have a minor issue with my order on arrival but gxmmat customer service was amazing and fixed it quickly. The material is durable and we have not seen any issues over several months using it on a wooden floor. Highly recommend this product for regular everyday use.

I purcahsed this for my wellness room. Not as think as I imagined but otherwise a great product. I added padding underneath. Love the color.

We were looking for a very specific gym mat. Most gym mats at a larger size have a standard of 7mm thickness. But we were looking for something thicker than that for when we have to do floor exercises and need to be on our knees. Our choices were very limited. We were lucky to find this mat that was a tad thicker but also relatively large so that we could fit our home gym on it and have enough room to move without stepping off the mat. I’ve been happy with it. It’s very durable as we move a bench around the mat repeatedly and I like that it doesn’t slide about and has some cushion when you stand on it.

I am super disappointed. $60 for a mat is not cheap. I like the size and it seemed fine but I’ve had it for less than a week and it’s already starting to crumble apart like a cheap, well-used yoga mat does after a year or so. Less than a week! I’m so so bummed and disappointed. Might be OK to use for restorative yoga only but will fall apart if you do literally any kind of movement. I’m upset.
