Didn't really get to use it, but...
When my little buddy of sixteen year began showing signs that he was having trouble with his back legs, I began searching for solutions, and came across this adjustable wheelchair. Upon receiving it I was eager to see if this would be a solution that could benefit him. It assembled and adjusted quickly and easily. The build quality seemed solid. The wheels spun easily. I slipped my dog into the harness, got him secured, and was pleased to find that it fit him perfectly. The problem was that he'd not completely lost the use of his back legs, so he was still trying to walk while secured in the wheelchair, and only managed to run over his own feet. This was in no way a problem with the unit itself, but rather my dog not understanding what the wheelchair was for and still trying to walk. A couple months passed and by the time his back legs had completely gone out, he'd also lost too much of his overall strength to even stand, much less pull himself around in the wheelchair. It wasn't long after that I found myself having to make the toughest decision of my life. So, I really didn't get to use this wheelchair for my dog. Since it's still in like-new condition, maybe when I can bring myself to look at it again without completely breaking down, I'll donate it to a non-profit animal clinic. Hopefully another dog can use it.

She’s so happy now
My dog recently lost the ability to use her back legs and has been so depressed and stir crazy. She knew when I was putting it together that it was for her and was very excited. Once in and adjusted she went outside to relieve herself and didn’t seem to have any trouble. It seemed much easier for her than when I was holding her in a sling. It was so great to see her wagging her tail and smiling again. I truly think the confidence and routine of using the bathroom outside with little assistance will go along way in raising her spirits and helping her recover. Excellent product at a reasonable price. Make sure you have a firm grasp of them at first because she was ready to zoom away.

Nice construction.
Easy to put together. Wish they had a smaller size. I ordered a small but it was still too big for my Yorkiepoo. Unfortunately my baby only used it 4 days before she died. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of sizing.

Hopefully it works for your dog
My parents said the dog freaked out when they tried to put them in there and it wasn’t a good fit for him. It also came with hair already on it from someone else’s dog that also returned it because it didn’t work.

Works great
This works so well! It has been instrumental in allowing our dog to go outside and have more freedom like he used to!

Lil Galaxy doggie wheelchair
Thank you for asking, Peanut is doing much better although I don't use the apparatus much now since he is able to walk without it. It was very useful after Peanut had knee surgery and was unable to walk properly. Being a Yorkie, he was hesitant using it when I strapped him in and after realizing that it was the only way to get around he started to walk with it. How do you keep them from running over our feet with the wheels! I will keep in in storage just in case. Shhhhh! John & Peanut

You get what you pay for.
Very light weight. no traction as the wheels are slick. Bought for my pug who is a tripod, with weakness in the remaning back leg. It doenst support his body, the sling is too low to the ground. You get what you pay for. I ma going to try to rig up a way to temporarily use this to see if hell adjust before paying $200-$500 for a good one.
