Given the price, it’s a pretty solid reel. I fished it probably 6 hours per week for two and a half months on one of my 5’6” ultralight rods. I was surprised at how smooth it was and the drag was very nice in my opinion. I have a Daiwa Regal on an identical rod that I also bring with me so I could compare the 2. The Fishdrops wasn’t has smooth feeling, and I had to reel a bit faster to keep up with the Regal. But for $25 vs. $75 it is a nice feeling reel. Way better than others in the same price range. The only reason I am not giving it a 5 star is because the clicker on the drag just gave out on me today. Drag still works but it is silent. Not a huge deal but not ideal. Otherwise it has held up and performed well

Overall good value, this reel is great for beginners. It has smooth operation and good castability. I have a little over 150 hours of saltwater fishing on this reel and there is little corrosion rinsing after use and oiling gears before storing. Durability wise The fastener connecting the grip to the crank backed out and needs replacement.

I needed a cheap reel for my crappie rod, wasn't expecting much due to the price, but wow, this reel blew me away. Very lightweight, 12+1 Ball Bearings, which means a effortless experience when reeling in your lures or bait and a very smooth and even drag system. Also a nice big comfortable grip on the reel handle. Even if it only lasts one season, it would still be worth the price. Couldn't be happier with this purchase. Will be putting these on all my panfish rods.

Bigger than expected. It’s smooth but the light weight makes it feel “plasticy”

It's works really well and I like how it looks and how smooth it feels and the grip is actually good and stays grippy when wet.
