They appear to be as strong and sturdy as most other risers I have bought. I was a bit surprised to find only a single screw hole to fix the timber in place as two would have been better, but these represent a small number of the total supports I am using, so I think it will be OK. There was no literature in the pack to tell me what the maximum spacing is and I think that is very poor as it is critically important to the loading. Time will tell whether they are adequate I guess. For what they are, they are jolly expensive.

Excellent way to level deck or shed beams, just rest them on a small concrete pad or paving slab. Start at highest point with foot on near minimum extension. Then all the other odd can be extended to level the beams. If the extension is not enough because of a very low spot or slop, just stack a paving slab or brick under neath

All 5 were damaged, I can't be bothered to send them back as I can't wait. Looks like they were damaged when packed, there are no pieces in the packaging.
