After originally purchasing some cheaper brackets (probably Chinese) that appear all over Amazon and Ebay, that did not work. Specifically because they were pressed steel and could not provide the grip required to hold heavy glass panels. These ones are totally different. Machined from solid stainless with good rubber grips. These are the real deal and do the job they are intended for. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for. It’s worth paying a bit more for those brackets, especially if you have large heavy panels to support. I could tell by the weight as soon as those were delivered that they were a totally different bracket.

I bought this to replace one on our balcony that no longer worked as the rubber had hardened. The glass kept slipping onto the decking. This solved it. Cornish sea side air is full of salt so it will probably blister and fade like most 'stainless' steel. Looks great for now.
