The basics, done well
Brought this for a family member, it is a nice little bit of kit for those wanting all of the fitness and health tracking features you need. Happy with the battery life and it easy enough to use. Overall good value for money amongst a lot of other smart watch/fitness trackers that are out there.

Perfect Replacement
Bought as a replacement for the previous edition Fitbit that had decided after 4 years use to stop(something to do with the programming). So far Everything working perfectly.

Subscription required to fully use the app
Excellent value for what it does. Would be 5* based on the watch alone , but to fully use all the app features it requires a subscription. Free months were included with my purchase so it wasn’t too bad.

Fitbit at a great price
Replacement for an earlier Fitbit, bought through the Amazon resale section, so significantly discounted. In very good order, in brown box rather than branded packaging (suits me, I can reuse the box) and without manual (easy enough to find answers online or through the app online). Very happy with my purchase.Super fast charging and after a bit of tinkering round to get the settings how I want them, working nicely. The movement reminder gives a little haptic buzz to remind you to get off your posterior if your job means you're a bit sedentary and building the step count is quite motivating.Synchronises nicely with nutracheck calorie counter app but will not talk direct to apple health. Understandable really as they are major competitors in the tracking arena so little manual data entry may be needed if you need to join up with some other apps.

Disappointed
I bought this as a birthday present for myself in Jan 24 and was initially very pleased with it. However, now I’m having to charge it at least 4-5 times a week, the colour is coming off the watch so you can see the silver metal underneath (I have not done anything which may have scraped it - plus it’s a black watch so it’s especially visible) and it’s not accurate, especially the sleep monitor function (which was one of the main reasons I bought this one). I contacted Amazon who gave me the email address to contact Fitbit, after explaining the issues and for the price, I expected better and it for not to start having problems after 6 months (which is when I first noticed it). There are other issues including it not tracking properly and not connecting to message alerts, just doing it randomly when it wants to! Fitbit got back to me and said these issues aren’t covered under their 2 year warranty. I really expected better from such a big company like Fitbit and from Amazon in dealing with my problem. My mum had a Fitbit that lasted over 6 years with no problems and only bought a new one recently as the strap broke off her watch and it couldn’t be repaired. It looks like the quality was better 6 years ago than 6 months ago. Also once your free Fitbit premium has run out and you have to pay, what you get from the watch reduces and goes downhill even further! With even less accuracy than previously. I never spend this sort of money on a watch but wanted to get fitter and make changes to be healthier. You can’t connect to your own music and change tracks etc, you can only use YouTube music, which you have to download a separate app and pay for! This wasn’t clear in the description (as well as others I could mention) when I bought it. It let me add my bank card but then deleted it off the watch by itself, so I can’t rely on that feature. The watch strap is also rubbing so much on my wrist, I have to take it off and put cream on to soothe it. I’m not allergic to anything and have never had a problem with wearing a watch of any sort on my skin before. Safe to say, all I’m using this watch (when I can!) but won’t be buying a Fitbit again. I thought going with the well known brand would be better than a cheaper option. I was wrong!

Highly recommend
Highly recommend this, far better than the apple watch due to its battery life

Accurate, Comfortable, and Motivating
Really happy with the Fitbit Charge 6 so far. It’s lightweight, looks good, and the tracking is super accurate — especially heart rate during workouts. Battery easily lasts a week, which is a big plus. The sleep and activity insights have actually helped me make small changes that stick. Premium membership is a nice bonus too. Overall, a solid upgrade and totally worth it.

Ok, poor app, nov3rd part apps, music needs subscription
Works fine, infrequent charging. Quite a lot if setup non-intuitive e.g tracking walks on map. As well as enabling it to use map, and choosing gps mode, you have to separately find a not so obvious setting in the exercise screen, then before walking make sure gps has connected. Music control requires a subscription. App is flaky, I have to frequency restart it. App cardio load is bizarre, apparently one minute I'm over training, the next, having achieved the goals, I'm apparently underwriting. Worst is that yo meet EU directives to open up the marketplace for competition they decided instead to completely remove support for 3rd party apps, despite keeping it in some parts of the world
