Works wonderfully
The pump and the heat went out on 177 gallon at 80% full hot tub that's inflatable the pump only ran for 2 or 3 months before it went out and apparently that's always the way with these and this little pump believe it or not is filtering and aerating the hot tub of 177 gallons with absolutely no problem whatsoever I've been using it a few days now and I have no problems with it the water we keep somewhere between 104 and 110° the heat doesn't seem to affect it the sun doesn't seem to affect that the chlorine isn't really affecting it other than a little bit of brown staining on the side of it but that might be from the heat element or you know just from grime or whatever I don't really know but other than that it's done a great job hasn't called any staining on the line or anything like that done a great job so far

Works for inflatable hot tubs
Used the 550 GPH as a replacement pump in my inflatable spa. The pumps are known to have impeller failures and mine finally stopped working completely after 13 months of ownership. Manufacturer will not sell just the broken pump. They will only sell a whole new pump/heater/air pump as a fully assembled housing for 10x the cost of this pump. Time will tell how long this replacement will last, but if it gets anywhere near a year I'd be quite pleased.

Nice unit, nice price, works well!
Very nice unit, we're impressed. Lots of power and more then enough flow. Zero leaks out of the package.

Very good price for performance.
A quality submersible or non-submersible pump, very good price for performance.

Outdoor fountain
I needed a new outdoor fountain pump and after researching I bought this one. It has plenty of power and has run without trouble continuously for months. The fountain often runs out of water and it has run dry without trouble. It is plastic, no rusting, seems to be solid.

Impellor broke after 2 months, zero customer service available.
Well, I bought the DP-2500 (550gph) pump. and it worked well for 2 months. I went out today, and it wasn't pumping although it was running. I pulled it out and the impellor broke in half. There was no debris in the pump at all.. weird... The sad part, the pump documentation that came with it said 12 month warranty, and the website listed uniclife.com doesn't exist, and there is no way to get ahold of anyone from UnicLife... Amazon says my 30 day window ran out.. So, I guess I'm screwed, and it's back to Tetra for me for a higher price.. I was gonna stock on these, but not now.

Not as strong as stated
It doesn't seem to work well if it's not submerged.

Great pond pump
I've had this for 2 years now. It works with a 3 ft rise and works great. It has been running continuously for 2 years with no issue. Paid less than $20. I think the impeller replacement part for my old Pondmaster costs about the same.
