worked a charm
My PC wouldnt boot without a monitor connected. This unit resolved my issue. Once connected the PC booted successfully.

Works great for my Dell R620 idrac remote console
I was having trouble doing remote OS installs on my Dell poweredge R620 using the idrac remote console. After connecting this adapter I could finally see the screen image over idrac. It makes the remote computer believe that a monitor is attached, so that it enables the graphics to be rendered. Glad I picked this up.

Bought this to fake a display so I could use Intel AMT (vPro) for remote desktop to my headless OptiPlex 7080. Where AMT before showed a blank screen after boot, with this dummy VGA plug I can now see and use the remote console. Saves me from having to have a proper monitor connected.

Works as it’s stated.
This works perfect. I needed to run my crypto mining rigs from my garage but did not want a monitor connected to it. I used a remote software (team viewer) and this device worked perfect. Unless you have this installed you will not have any screen to see with team viewer because the Mobo will not output the screen signal.

Got this for the VGA port of a headless PC running as a server. It fools the PC into thinking a monitor is connected when there really isn't one. Has many resolutions to pick from, highest one I see is 2048 x 1536 but I selected 1920 x 1080 and all is well. PC has a GeForce 6150SE chipset on the motherboard, running Windows 7 64bit and using Chrome Remote Desktop.

does not fit standard VGA port
Purchased this based on the reviews only to find that it does not fit the standard VGA port. I tried it on 2 Supermicro motherboards (ITX & ATX) and it didn't fit either, makes me wonder are there different size VGA adapters?

I regret not returning this in time because I purchased another one just like it that actually went to 1920x1080p, only 1024x768. Regret. 2 stars because it technically works, just not as advertised.
