Just like my grandma Mabel’s California Black Mission fig jam from my childhood (in a olive and almond growing area of Northern California). The right ratio of everything! A perfect purple or black fig jam, that perfect taste that is so hard to find so many dark (violet/black/purple) type fig jams and preserves common on the market today. As a side note I do not recommend their white fig jam/preserves, their are better options, but you won’t a better violet/black purple option out there, as good maybe, but not better.
