Work fast, very fast
First of all I want to state that this stuff hardens fast, very fast. Be ready to apply and form this putty as soon as you mix it. Mix it quickly also because as soon as you start the mixing process you activate this stuff and the clock starts clicking. I misused this putty on a fiberglass RV door repair. The stated application does not include fiberglass but it appears to be working for my purpose. One of the reasons I used this product is that I hate working with true fiberglass products. The other reason was that this is off white when curred and the fiberglass repair putty is dark green. It actually smells a lot like fiberglass so I suspect it is in the same family of products just missing the actual fiberglass fibers. That and the color is off white vs dark green. It sands out very easily and you can follow up with additional applications as you complete your repair. Being the cure time is so quick I would recommend that for big projects to work in steps. Build it up slowly. With the quick cure time it works out well that way. You only need a few minutes between applications. As far as reviewers complaining about the container not being full that is because it is actually sold by weight not volume. They list or market it by the container size but that is a little misleading as it is actually sold by weight. It's good stuff.

I love this putty; it works as advertised. It forms a strong bond and hardens quickly.

Great product
I used this in a vintage glider restore. I had never used a product like this before. Followed instructions. The only thing I recommend is, DO NOT USE IT IN HOT WEATHER. 60-70 works best. Dries very hard, sands easily. Great product.

All around great DIY repair product
This is the first time I've used the J-B Weld version of this two-part putty kind of product. I actually preferred it over the Bondo version because its activator is blue (rather than white like Bondo's), which makes it much easier to assess the blending process. Aside from that, I found it just as reliable, easy to work with, and excellent for making flawless and robust repairs in wood, metal, masonry, etc.

Faulty Container Design
Great product but the 1 gallon container is not durable from easily being crushed in shipping and must close lid after use with very gently otherwise the container walls collapse. The last delivery I had difficulty removing the plastic container cap that's usable to mix the 2 part epoxy and hardener. See attached pics. The container walls were crushed to the point that the cap was stuck on the container lid. And once the container walls become deformed it becomes even more difficult to pry the lid open because the gap between the "groove" outside diameter of the lid and the inside lip diameter of the can is extremely tight to fit a paint can opener tool. Product engineering and the manufacturing decision makers can do a better job and I have every reason to believe at NO additional manufacturing or shipping cost to them or the customer!

Good price is not damaged because of the freezing cold weather
Wells package but a day late I hope below freezing temperatures didn’t destroy the product.
