EMS Offroad Tire Carrier Hinge and Latch

I bought this so I could fab my own tire carrier. Value for the money is great it saved alot of machining and trial and error, it seems sturdy but I have yet to put it through its paces. My only complaint coming from someone who has never used a hinge like this is is that I wish it had come with a diagram of how it went together and maybe a little added tips for installation. I'm mechanically inclined and figured it out quickly but just a note for someone who is trying to learn on the fly.

If you are going to fabricate a a swinging tire carrier, this is the perfect hardware. These work great for heavy gate hinges as well (or any object that needs to swing)… nicely put together package.

Bought this to make a tire carrier for my jeep.Worked great, Alot easier than fabricating parts myself. Great quality, I was a little aprehensive about quality of cam latch,but it is a Destayco and is of high quality, As a fabricated by trade ,I'd recommend this kit to anyone wanting to build their own tire carrier. Also shipping was super fast ,only took 2 days

Excellent product. It was exactly what I was looking for. I would highly recommend. Make sure you do not have bearings in cup while welding.
