It worked immediately after plugging it to my iPhone and downloading the app. The image is quite clear and good as long as the camera is steady. If held in your hand and your hand shakes a little, the image is not very clear. The light is strong enough to see very well. Very satisfied.

For the price it is an outstanding price of equipment. Great resolution and the lights work great.
