Absolutely brilliant film plenty of action well worth watching 👀

Yet another excellent film in what is supposed to be the last in the franchise. Let’s hope not.

A great movie 🎥, hopefully this will be the last instalment of this franchise.

Bought this DVD as we have all the other Expendables DVDs. Did not think it was as good as the others, bit disapointed with it.

Great film plenty of action and famous stars

Its been a while since the 3rd film and the big comeback is slightly muted. Of the originals only Stallone, Statham, Couture and Lundgren are left. Even all the replacement Expendables are gone. It's not surprising really as it really isn't an Expendables film, it is a Statham solo film. Like the second Escape plan film, Stallone is used as a means to sell the film, but is barely in it, thankfully with this film though we do still have a recognisable cast. The rest of the team kinda gets removed from the action early on (not killed, just removed) and Stath goes on a one man warpath although does pick up Tony Jaa along the way. The main bad guy reveal at the end is incredibly predicable as is Stallones fate, but as I said in my title, it's dumb fun, not some overblown arthouse film where you have to think. The CGI is pretty ropey in this, but not terrible. Megan Fox is Megan Fox. Pulling off her usual lacklustre performance and as one of the new Expendables she still has to go on missions in make up thicker than a builders trowel would smear on, and never seems to get a spot of dirt on her or her hair messed up. What we do see of the other characters is fine, but there just was not enough of it. One of the new characters is the son of Antonia Banderas' character and has the exact same motormouth but lacking the charm of Antonio. Tony Jaa is a highlight though. Overall as long as you keep your expectations low, and understand this is a Statham film, it's pretty enjoyable with some really cool action set pieces if you ignore the CGI limitations.

Mit keiner Silbe erwähnt, weder in der Beschreibung, noch sonst wo, dass es sich NICHT um eine deutsche Bluray handelt. Erst beim ersten anschauen festgestellt, dass kein deutsches Menü, deutsche Sorache verfügbar ist. War leider ein misslungenen Geburtstagsgeschenk... Wird umgehend zurück geschickt, bin auf die Rückzahlung gespannt. Klappt nach anderen Rezessionen ja auch nicht zwangsläufig mit der Rückerstattung... Wenns nicht klappen sollte, Amazon & Anzeige bei der Polizei. Ich bin da eher Spaßbefreit was solche Geschäftsmethoden angeht und teile die Geduld anderer Betroffener nicht.
