Is there a way to tell what exactly what level of magnification the device is set to? i.e. 100x, 500x, etc.

Yeah it has the little numbers on it where you turn the know. Prolly gotta get it right and take the pic, then look at where it ended up afterwords

i dont know about 1000x but it works real well see trichomes very easily

How to connect my iPhone 13 using this product?

With mobile phone: Make sure that the microscope has enough power before use, you could use your 5V phone adapter to charge. And switch the mode to wifi. 1)Download the “Max-see” or ''inskam'' app as the user manual show from Google Play or Apple app store and install. Close the app before step 2 2)Long-press the on-off button on the microscope to turn it on 3)On your phone go under “setting” and then under “WI-FI” and search for the microscope’s name. You will get a message that you have no WI-FI connection, but you will see you are connected to the microscope. 4)Open the app on your phone. Select “accept” for the window popping up to access photos. Microscope will store the photos and videos you capture in your photos folder. 5)While the app is open, you will see on the screen what the microscope sees. Press the camera or video buttons to take photos or videos, respectively. 6)To disconnect, turn off with and your phone will automatically return to its original WI-FI settings. When Wi-Fi is connected, but there is no picture: Please turn off other open applications in the phone. This is because the wifi signal can only be used for the microscope to transmit pictures and videos.

Can this digital microscope be used without the stand ?

What stand? If there's a stand I didn't get one, but it sure would've been a useful additional component for this lil scope! 😅 To answer your question plainly: Yes, it is intended for hand-held use and doesn't technically need a stand... That said, if you're like me, and have a difficult time keeping your hand steady while watching an inverse image on a separate device, then you'll get irritated with how impossible it is to keep it perfectly at the right elevation, and how much you need to operate the focus knob (which is impossible to do without jostling the scope, meaning you'll have to re-adjust the knob more after you've adjusted the knob, and on and on and on...) If there's a stand available, you'll want it! (At least, I sure do!)
