Got these due to multiple failures on the swivels of a cheaper model. The catfish were straightening out the swivels and pulling the hooks. So anyone catching cats at Milford Lake KS with 5/0 circles in their mouth, your welcome. So the swivel held up compared to the cheap model. So far no bends in the leaders and they are holding up well.

I was highly impressed with the pre made wire leaders for my last beach trip. I forgot to make shark rigs and used these as a substitute. you can even hook two together to extend the length for shark fishing. I caught 6 4-6 foot black tip sharks with these on the beach. They durable and strong with a nice protective coating over the wire.

Price is good but I hope the quality is good. Stuff made in China sure feels and looks low quality. Time will tell.

So I ordered these for my son because he has a catfishing trip soon and he absolutely loves these 150 pound steel leaders.

Had these for a few months since purchased and finally used them on a fishing trip yesterday I saw a barracuda near a school of pilchards and decided to hook on a pilchard an throw it to him and with patience and twitch my line to my the dead fish seem like it was injured the big boy grabbed and eventually ran off with it leading to what felt like a 7 to 10 min fight this "Barry" as we locally call them weighed 18lbs and was 4feet long it was the biggest one I ever have caught to date. The lead wire despite as you can see all the relentless biting held and did its job well. After closer inspection aside from the plastic covering only one single strand broke on the wire overall in my opinion it did its job well and when I get the time I will order another batch again.

Caught some 15-25 pound wahoo on them and tons of barracuda! After catching a couple fish then a big one hit it snapped the clip in half and lost my lure… so maybe swap them out every couple fish.
